5-star performance from FC Goa!
Fantastic performance from FC Goa and they end the league stages at the top of the charts! After taking a 1- 0 lead in the first half, the away side found their groove and were even better in the second half. Though it looked like we would just see that one goal but Hugo Boumous doubled their lead 20 minutes before time. Flurry of goals late towards the end ensured that the tourists completely outclassed Jamshedpur FC and end their disappointing season with a humiliating loss. 3 goals in the space of just over 6 minutes ensured FC Goa enter the semi-final in a dominant fashion. It was a disappointing season for the Men of Steel and their final game ended in further disappointment.

Another one for FC Goa and it is complete mayhem out there. 3 goals in the last 5 minutes and it is yet another supreme performance by the Gaurs! Hugo Boumous, how do you keep this man out of the game? He has scored a wonderful solo goal here. He gets the ball on the left side inside the box, in a tight angle. He shows his skill and goes past Memo Moura. He has tight angle at the near post but somehow he manages to beat Rafique Ali in his near post to complete another dominant display.

Second half begins!!!
Jamshedpur FC get us underway in this half. They will be attacking right to left in this half.
Table toppers lead at the halfway mark
A very crunching half of football and it is the away side who head into the break with a slender lead. Jamshedpur FC started off brightly and enjoyed more of the ball around the opposition's box in the early exchanges but it were the Gaurs who opened the scoring with a superb counter-attack. The home side continued to ask questions to the opposition's backline but FC Goa had all the answers for it. It has not been a typical Goa performance in the first 45 but they have done enough to head into the break with their noses in front. The hosts need to be more lethal and creative in the final third of the pitch if they are to take anything from their last game of the season.

Mandar to the rescue
Farukh Choudhary cannot find the power in his header. Noe Acosta whips in a cross from the left, Mohammad Nawaz comes out and looks to punch but Farukh jumps high and gets his head to it. Mohammad Nawaz though gets a good chunk of his hand on it and takes the pace off, allowing Mandar Rao Dessai to clean it up with ease.
19'
Bad decision
Jackichand Singh is set free on the right with a very good through ball from Lenny Rodrigues. He puts in a low cross which hits a Jamshedpur FC defender. Jackichand gets to the spilt ball and tries his luck with a very wayward shot. It gets blocked and goes out for a corner. The resulting set-piece does not possess any threat to the home side.
16'
Blocked shot

GOAAALLL!!!!
Supreme counterattack from the away side and the home fans have gone absolutely silent. It's once again FC Goa's lethal striker, Ferran Corominas who has given them the lead. Aitor Monroy whips in an outswinging corner which goes outside the box. Mobashir Rahman misses his volley and Hugo Boumous goes chasing after it. Jamshedpur FC are found wanting in defense and Boumous plays a lovely ball to set Ferran Corominas one-on-one with the keeper. The Spanish striker won't miss that and he shows lovely composure and slots it in the back of the net.

Matchday
It is time for match 85 in the Indian Super League which sees FC Goa visit Jamshedpur FC aiming to secure the top spot in the points table. FC Goa are on a 4-match winning streak and would look to end the group stages with another win. They were helped by Chennaiyin FC who won against ATK FC and that has a left a 3-point gap between ATK and the Gaurs. The away side will more or less finish on top even if they draw this game. They are running high on confidence at the moment and are favourites to collect 3 points from this game. Hugo Boumous has been the star for them, scoring 9 goals in the season so far. Their defense though has been found wanting in the last few games and they would look to improve that before the semi-finals. Jamshedpur FC, on the other hand, have had a poor tournament. They have been winless in their last 5 encounters and would hope that they break that streak when FC Goa come calling. Overall, they have won only 4 games in the season and would want to end the season on a high. Injuries to key players have not helped them and that has shown in their performances, even at home. Aitor Monroy has been the pick of the players. He has scored only 1 goal but the way he has been dictating play from midfield has been impressive. Head to head, these two sides have won 2 games each. Who will come out on top today? Will FC Goa secure the top spot or will Jamshedpur FC end the season on a high?
