A convincing victory for the home team and this is also the first loss for FC Goa this season. It was all square at the halftime when Michael Soosairaj and Mourtada Fall both scored for their respective sides. But it completely changed in the second 45 when the hosts started creating more chances. They finally got their reward when Soosairaj scored his second of the match. It got even better for Jamshedpur FC when Memo struck a left-footer shot into the top corner and dealt a huge blow to Goa's chances of making a comeback. Sumeet Passi then put the icing on the cake when he scored the fourth goal of the evening to complete a brilliant performance for Jamshedpur FC. The Gaurs were completely outplayed this evening and they dearly missed the services of their star striker, Corominas.

The home team started brightly and took a well-deserved lead when Michael Soosairaj opened the scoring for them. They should have had a couple of goals more with the chances they were creating. Gourav Mukhi has been their standout player who has been running behind the opposition defence more often than not. As far as the away team is concerned, they did create some decent chances and Mourtada Fall eventually heads one past the keeper to get the equaliser. Can Goa keep their winning momentum?
