Goodbye!
What a pulsating game this was. However, that is it from this game. We will love to have your company on Sunday as Jamshedpur FC take on Bengaluru FC at home at 1930 IST. Till then, cheers and take care!
Awards!
Hyderabad FC bag the Club Award for winning the game. Marko Stankovic is the Limitless Player of the Match. Nikhil Poojary collects the Winning Pass of the Match Award. Rahul KP takes the ISL Emerging Player of the Match Award while Marcelo Pereira is handed over the Hero of the Match Award.
Hyderabad FC have arrived in the ISL
And they have done so in front of their home crowd. Three precious points and the team along with the coach looks delighted. Hyderabad FC have made a remarkable comeback after going into the break one goal down. They went all out attack from the start of the second half but could not manage to create any clear cut opportunities. However, Mouhamadou Gning's tackle during the 53rd minute saw the away team give away a penalty. Marko Stankovic converted the resulting penalty and helped his side equalize. The Kerala Blasters FC skipper, Bartholomew Ogbeche had a great chance to put the away team into the lead again but he squandered it. The golden moment for the home team arrived in the 81st minute when Marcelo Pereira took a free kick. He curled one in from the left hand side and sent the stadium into raptures. Kerala Blasters got half chances in the end but could not put anything in the back of the net. First points for Hyderabad FC in the Indian Super League and they could not have come in a much better way.

Chance for the visitors
Halicharan Narzary puts in a cross from the left flank after he receives a pass from Bartholomew Ogbeche. The resulting free kick is taken by Sergio Cidoncha and after a lot of half clearances, it is finally kicked away by Marko Stankovic.

Foul and yellow card
Precious, precious one for Hyderabad FC. Marcelo Pereira is the man again who wins a free kick near the halfway line for his team. Jairo Rodrigues fouls him from behind and he is booked for it.

GOOOAALLLLLL!!!
Marcelo Pereira, you beauty! He has produced magic from this free kick! A foul just outside the box, Marcelo Pereira steps up to take the free kick. He sets himself up, takes a deep breath. He goes for goal and the ball goes in the top left bin. What a shot that one with the goalkeeper completely beaten. The crowd is going bonkers and so is Marcelo Pereira. Hyderabad FC lead against the run of play. The referee has given Pereira a yellow card for his celebration. However, he won't mind that at all.

Just wide
Marcelo Pereira is the man. He runs in from the left and is one against one against the keeper. He also has a teammate in his support but he goes for goal. He tries to curl one in but it goes just over the bar and Hyderabad FC survive.

Huge chance
Kerala Blasters FC almost go into the lead again. This should have been put in by Bartholomew Ogbeche but he has missed it. Some beautiful play down the left flank by Rahul KP. He runs down the left, beats one defender, then the second. Rahul, from just near the byline, puts in a low cross which goes straight to Ogbeche. He is just 6 yards out but his shot is blocked by Matthew Kilgallon. The ball falls near the goal and Kamaljit Singh then collects it. Second chance that Ogbeche has missed in this game.
57'
Ambitious from Marcelo Pereira
Matthew Kilgallon hits a clearance towards Robin Singh who takes the ball and heads it to Marcelo Pereira. Marcelo controls the ball with his head and then shoots on the volley but his dipping shot is just off target.
57'
Substitution
Sahal Abdul Samad goes out and Messi Bouli comes in for him. A strange substitution as Samad was playing well and he also provided the substitution for the goal.

GOOAALLLLL!!
Marko Stankovic puts it home from the penalty spot and Hyderabad FC are back in the game. A long, long time before Stankovic takes the penalty but he keeps his nerve and hits the ball towards the middle-right of the goal, sending the keeper the wrong way.

Penalty
Penalty for the hosts and a buzz around the ground. Smart play by Mohammed Yasir. He collects the ball on the edge of the box after a clearance by Kerala Blasters FC. He runs in on the left side of the box. He senses that Mouhamadou Gning could put in a challenge and puts the ball ahead, makes Gning tackle him and Yasir goes down. Referee points to the spot.
48'

Second half begins!
We are back for the final 45! The players are all set to resume and the visitors will get us underway.
Little to separate these two
Hyderabad FC go into the break one goal down and they will be disappointed in the manner they conceded the goal after a defensively solid half. It can be said as the only clear cut opportunity in the half and Kerala Blasters FC made full use of it. After the goal, the hosts did lose a bit of discipline and some chances were created but none came to fruition. Kerala Blasters FC after an average performance, will be happy to go into the break with their tails up.
45'

42'
Uncharacteristic
Bartholomew Ogbeche is the man here. He is put through on goal by a beautiful pass through the middle by Mouhamadou Gning. He could have taken the shot first time but he opts to take a touch. Unfortunately for Kerala Blasters FC, it is too heavy and Kamaljit Singh comes off his line to collect it. Lucky escape for the hosts.
40'
Off Target!
Mohamad Rakip passes the ball to Rahul KP just outside the opposition box. Praveen dribbles with a couple of defenders to make himself space to fire the ball in but the shot goes wide of diving Kamaljit Singh.
38'
Huge opportunity missed
This time it is the hosts. Nikhil Poojary gets the ball on the left flank but he hangs onto it for too long as there is just one defender with him and Rohit Kumar in support. Raju Gaikwad and Prasanth Karuthadathkuni do well to clear up the mess.

24'
Cancelling each other out
Both the sides so far have been equal in all departments, be it attacking or defending. Chances are coming few and far in between. Looks like proficiency in front of goal will be key in this game.

Matchday!
After losing both their games so far in the Indian Super League, Hyderabad FC come home in search of their first win as they take on Kerala Blasters FC. In the two games so far, Hyderabad FC have conceded 8 goals and have only managed to score once. With several injury concerns, Hyderabad FC coach Phil Brown will have a task in hand for this game. He needs to have a settled defensive unit first up and at the same time, the forwards need to step up to the plate as well. Hyderabad FC have a fresh face in their squad as Abhash Thapa comes in. Kerala Blasters FC, on the other hand, started the tournament with a win but lost their last match against Mumbai City FC. They take to the field after a long break and will be looking to up the intensity against the hosts who have already been knocked back by a thumping defeat against ATK. Their skipper Ogbeche, who has two goals to his name, will be looking to pile on further misery against an under fire Hyderabad FC backline. The defensive unit, lead by Jairo Rodrigues, will be looking to up the ante and keep a clean sheet after failing to do so in their two games so far this season. Will Hyderabad FC get their first Indian Super League win or will Kerala FC return to winning ways?
