Awards!
The Club Award goes to HFC for winning the game. Javier Siverio has been awarded the Hero Of The Match Award!
HFC hang on!
HFC have managed to hang on to their 1-0 lead which they took earlier in the game and bagged all three points. FCG though will be gutted to not get any points from this encounter. They certainly improved their overall game in the second half but despite creating multiple opportunities, FCG failed to break the defense of HFC. The Hyderabad FC defenders negotiated most of the attacks which were thrown at them. Alvaro Vazquez though should have equalized as FCG won a penalty late in the second half which was not converted. Eduardo Bedia Pelaez also had a golden opportunity right at the end but Laxmikant Kattimani made a brilliant stop to ensure his side finished on top.
90'
Full time!
Peep, peep, peep, there goes the final whistle and that is the end of the game! It ends HFC 1-0 FCG!
90'
What a chance that is!
What a save too! Absolutely brilliant! The cross from the right goes over the head of everyone and finds the feet of Eduardo Bedia Pelaez. He looks to tap it in but Laxmikant Kattimani dives to his right and makes a brilliant, brilliant save. It goes out for a corner, nothing from it. That was probably the last chance of the game.
90'

Six minutes have been added to the 90! Still a lot of time left in the game for FCG to find the equalizer.

Alvaro Vazquez has dragged it wide! What have you done? You need to hit the target from there. That is poor from the substitute! He steps up and looks to hit it to the right of the keeper but drags it wide.
82'
PENALTY!
FCG have a chance to find the equalizer as they are awarded a penalty late! That is a poor foul. The ball is chipped into the box on the right. Alvaro Vazquez goes for it but Akash Mishra goes in with a flying high boot but gets the player and not the ball. Big chance.

Cross or a shot?
Really not sure what Halicharan Narzary was trying to do! He probably was in two minds but it went quite wrong for him. He gets the ball on the left and makes a run down the line. He then looks to cross or maybe chip the keeper but it goes well over the goal.
58'
Chips it over!
Noah Wail Sadaoui is set through on the left with a ball from the top. He gets into the box. His touch is a little heavy and hence, gets into a narrow angle. He looks to chip it over the keeper but chips it over thw goal.
54'
Off the post!
HFC were inches away from doubling their lead! A ball is chipped towards Halicharan Narzary from the right. He brings it down and then smashes it on the volley. It takes a deflection and hits the post. The keeper had no chance. Unlucky.

Lot more to play after the break!
To summarise the half - Both teams play much better football but due to the flood-light failure, a couple of times to be precise, both were unable to find their rhythm. HFC will be happy they found the goal and if it goes the same way, one goal should be enough but FCG will have to come out with a lot more intent and with a bit more aggression to find the equalizer. The first half was filled with ebbs and flows but let's hope the second half is a lot more exciting one.
45'
Half time!
There goes the whistle and HFC lead at the break.
45'
Added time!
Just two minutes have been added on despite having a long interruption due to flood-light failure.
40'
Midfield battle!
Looks like HFC will go with the lead at the break. FCG are not able to stitch a few passes. Credit to HFC who are keeping things compact.
36'

Redeem Tlang is first one to be booked as he tries to win the ball from the back of one of the HFC player.

Looking for the equalizer!
FCG have most of the possession but they haven't done anything that hurt the opposition much.
30'
Cleared!
Noah Wail Sadaoui dribbles past his opposition and whips a lovely cross inside the box but HFC does well to clear it out. HFC have been rock solid in their defense.
24'
Big chance!
Redeem Tlang is 1-on-1 against the keeper but his shot is straight in the hands of Laxmikant Kattimani. He fails to get the elevation there. Should have scored.
20'
Injury!
Eduardo Bedia Pelaez gets clattered from the back by Joao Victor. He is feeling a bit of pain.
17'
Resumption!
For the second time, the game resumes and let's hope this was the last delay we saw.
15'
Prolong issue!
The technical issue is taking much longer than we thought. The referee is seen talking to the players and both the coaches. We still wait for the resumption.
15'
Stoppage!
The flood-light again goes off and there is another interruption. Two in a space of around 8 minutes.
15'
FCG finding the equalizer!
A good passage of play by FCG after conceding the goal. Redeem Tlang runs and has a shy from outside the box but his shot is well blocked.
11'
GOALLLL!
HFC take the lead! That is as easy as you like. Talk about the calmness Javier Siverio has here. HFC get a throw in on the left flank. Bartholomew Ogbeche heads it back and Javier Siverio gets rid of his marker before guiding it past the keeper off his left foot. The angle was tight but Javier didn't hurry at all as he finds the back of the net.

An evenly matched affair!
HFC played a cagey game against BFC and had to wait for a late winner to edge past their opponents but they have not had a problem scoring freely as they have carted in 7 goals so far. They have great prowess in front of goal and like to play free-flowing football, but they can be a bit open to counters making them vulnerable to sides with pace on the flanks. FCG are in top form and their win against CFC was a statement of intent as they look to continue their winning streak. The visitors have an experienced defensive line with a strong midfield as well and it will be interesting to see if they can keep the ball well or if HFC press them high, thereby planting a seed of doubt in their minds. The two teams have faced each other 6 times in the past with FCG winning 3 of the games but HFC won 3-2 for the first time last year in the home fixture. The away game had ended in a 1-1 and the tide seems to be shifting towards the reigning Hero ISL Champions. Both teams have great goal-scoring talent and the intensity up the field is going to guarantee us goals in this game. After a nervy start, Odei Onaindia and Chinglensana have kept two clean sheets at the back and are looking far more solid. Joao Victor and Halicharan Narzary are providing goals from midfield and Hero ISL 2021-22 top-scorer Bartholomew Ogbeche provides a handy focal point in attack. FCG bank on their two holding midfielders Glan Martins and Eduardo Bedia Pelaez to break up play and transform defense into attack. Their skipper Brandon Fernandes is their main attacking threat and Noah Wail Sadaoui justified his selection as a striker with a goal in the last game. Will either side be able to seal a win and condemn their opponents to their first loss? Or will both teams continue their unbeaten start with a draw?
Battle of the undefeated!
As we reach the midway stage of matchweek 4 in the Hero Indian Super League 2022-23, the excitement of entering a weekend full of football encounters has built tremendous expectations. We are about to witness two teams that have begun their campaign in outstanding fashion and are yet to taste defeat in the Hero ISL 2022-23. Hyderabad FC will play their third home game in four matches and host FC Goa, who have played all their games away from home so far at the G.M.C. Balayogi Athletic Stadium in Hyderabad. HFC, the Hero ISL 2021-22 Champions, started with a high-scoring draw against MCFC but have won two consecutive matches after that as they went on to defeat NEUFC comfortably away from home and even got a hard-fought 1-0 win against BFC in their last fixture. FCG are the only team with a 100% win record having played just two games so far and with the two away victories they now have half the total number of wins they managed in the Hero ISL 2021-22 season. They won their last match 2-0 against a strong CFC team and things have started brightly for Carlos Pena’s men. We expect this to be a fascinating contest with the reigning champions facing a team that is doing wonders away from home.
