Adios!
That's it from this game but the action in the Hero ISL 2022-23 continues on Sunday, the 23rd of October. Odisha FC will take on Kerala Blasters FC. That game will begin at 7.30 pm IST. Cheers!
Awards!
The Club Award goes to HFC for winning the game. The Hero of the Match Award goes to Bartholomew Ogbeche for his match-winning goal.
A well-deserved win!
Well, the first half was a bit scrappy but HFC changed the mood of the game and of the fans as they started to play more directly. Bartholomew Ogbeche was the link to everything for HFC. They kept on creating chances and found the goal through Bartholomew Ogbeche. It was a bit lucky but in this type of game, luck favours the brave ones. For BFC, it was a disappointing show. They were loose in the first half and were comprehensively beaten in the last half. They were on the back foot throughout the second half and didn't create a big chance. The way HFC started the half, they knew that even a goal would be enough to take all the points.

Full time!
There goes the whistle. HFC win the game with ease.

GOALLL!
The deadlock is broken and it is HFC's main man who scores. You give him half a chance and he will score. Borja Herrera from the corner whips inside the box. Gurpreet Sandhu gets tall but fumbles to collect it cleanly. He palms it away and straight to Bartholomew Ogbeche who heads in the net.

79'
On target!
Bartholomew Ogbeche sets up Sahil Tavora outside of the box. He shapes to curl it but hits it straight to the keeper. It is all HFC at the moment.

Foul!
Bartholomew Ogbeche is fouled on the edge of the box and HFC get a free kick in a good position. Javier Siverio takes it but hits the wall.
69'
Growing!
HFC are getting space in the midfield and unlike the first half, they are using more width. Bartholomew Ogbeche had a couple of shots as well. HFC looking more favorites to find the goal now but need to place that final puzzle.
64'
Change!
BFC make a change as Leon Augustine comes in for Siva Narayanan.
64'
Substitution

62'
Foul!
The game is losing its rhythm as it's been stopped-start due to so many fouls. Javier Siverio finds the cross from Halicharan Narzary and heads it wide of Gurpreet Sandhu but he makes a full-stretch save. Almost deadlock broken there.
60'
Hits the post!
The game is opening up now. The crowd is on their feet as they feel something is going to happen. Halicharan Narzary goes with his left foot. He shoots but hits the left post.
57'
HFC building!
Bartholomew Ogbeche comes deep to gather some momentum. He has a shy from yards out but fails to hit the target.
54'
Scrappy start!
HFC are on the attacking side but the through balls for the attackers are too wayward. Looks like someone from the bench will get some energy.
49'
Battling in middle!
It's a similar start to the way the first half was played. Not much impetus but we know, it takes one good pass to create pressure.
46'
Second-half!
BFC get us underway for this half. They will play from right to left in this half.
All level at the break!
A half dominated by the defenses of the two sides! There were hardly any chances created and both the sides struggled to find that final pass. It was HFC who began better but BFC defenders negotiated everything that came their way. They then began to play well slowly but they too struggled to create any kind of chances. However, it was HFC who had the better half chances. They did have one which should have been scored and that fell to Javier Siverio late in the half but he did not take the chance. We expect the game to be a lot more open in the second but with the way the defenses have performed, one goal for either side can win it. Stay tuned for the second essay.
45'
Half time!
There goes the whistle and that is the end of the first half! It is 0-0.
45'
Added time!
Just the one minute added to the 45. Can we get a goal?
40'
WIDE!
That is a big, big chance which goes abegging! He should have scored there. Javier Siverio should have berried that one. A lovely cross from the right by Mohammad Yasir finds the head of Javier Siverio who is open. He heads it but heads it wide from 5-7 yards away from goal.
37'
Side netting!
Joao Victor plays a lovely pass to set Javier Siverio through on the right. He gets inside the box, the angle is still not in his favor. He takes a shot but hits the side netting.
32'
Weak shot!
Javier Hernandez is put through on the right inside the box. He chests it down and then looks to take a shot but slips right towards the end and the connection is not that great. Easy save for the keeper.
26'
Midfield battle!
The game is being played in the midfield at the moment. Both the sides are struggling to break the other side's defense.
20'
Blocked!
Bartholomew Ogbeche gets the ball outside the box. He takes a shot on goal. Strikes it well but it is blocked nicely by Alan Costa!
17'
BFC playing well now!
BFC are slowly getting into their groove. They are passing it around confidently but still no clear chances for them too.
12'
Well defended!
A long ball finds Sunil Chhetri on the left inside the box. He looks to square it to someone in the centre of the box but it deflects out for a corner. Nothing from the corner.
9'
Final pass missing!
HFC are really doing well on the flanks. They are putting in cross after cross but unable to find the final pass.
6'
HFC have started well!
HFC have been the better side so far. Still quite early but they are passing it around well and looking more comfortable.
3'
Miscued!
He was maybe put off by Bartholomew Ogbeche! A cross from the right goes over everybody but finds the feet of an attacker in the left side of the box. It is Halicharan Narzary who looks to hit it on the volley but miscues it out for a goal kick.
1'
Let's Football!
It is time for the action to begin! We are done with the countdown and it is HFC who get us underway! Here we go...
National Anthem!
Time for the National Anthem! The players make their way out to the middle for the Indian National Anthem!

A fierce contest!
The first game for Hyderabad FC was a cracker. It ended up with a 3-3 draw where Joao Victor scored a brace and Halicharan Narzary scored one. In their second game, they thrashed NorthEast United FC 3-0. Joao Victor did not score any but Halicharan Narzary managed to score one. Out of the six goals scored so far for Hyderabad FC, Joao Victor and Halicharan Narzary have scored two each whilst Borja Herrera and Bartholomew Ogbeche have scored one. Coming to the visitors, they started off their campaign with a 1-0 home win against NorthEast United where Alan Costa scored a late winner. In their second game against Chennaiyin FC, Roy Krishna scored an early goal but Prasanth Karuthadathkuni equalized for Chennaiyin FC right at the stroke of halftime. The game ended in a 1-1 draw. Also, we haven't had Sunil Chhetri yet on the scoreboard. Hyderabad FC attacking prowess against Bengaluru FC's defense will be a major battle in this game. We might get to see some counterattack chances as well. You don't want to miss this blockbuster!
Matchweek 3!
The Hero Indian Super League 2022-23 is in full swing and we are soon in the matchweek 3 as Hyderabad FC takes on Bengaluru FC at G.M.C. Balayogi Athletic Stadium, Hyderabad. Both teams have four points on their board in two games. Hyderabad FC had a high-scoring game at their home in matchweek 1 which ended 3-3 against Mumbai City FC. However, that game was not at this venue. Bengaluru FC had a 1-1 draw in the last away game they played against Chennaiyin FC. Can any of the sides be able to bag all three points in this one? Let's find out.
