Goodbye
That is it from the game. Brilliant second half performance from the defending champions to seal all the three points. For the FC Pune City, it's going from bad to worse and to add to their misery, now they will be without their star man, Marcelo Pereira for the next few games. The action continues on Thursday when FC Goa host Delhi Dynamos FC at 1930 IST. See you for that. Cheers!
Awards
The Club Award is collected by Mailson Alves as Chennaiyin FC won the game. The Limitless Player of the Match Award goes to Gregory Nelson. First three points for Chennaiyin FC
A dominant performance in the end by the defending champions. First three points for them this season. After going a goal down in the first half, they came back stronger in the second 45 when Mailson Alves opened the scoring for them in the 54th minute. They soon made it two when Gregory Nelson scored a very well-made goal. Pune City were just not getting a grip on the game and soon they fell way behind when Chennaiyin FC scored two more towards the end. The hosts did pull one back in the 90th minute but it was just a consolation one. Finally, the Super Machans have won a game this season and will be more relieved than happy. The Stallions' dismal campaign although continues and now they slip to the last spot in the points table.

Three-pointer game
Welcome to match 30 between FC Pune City and Chennaiyin FC. It has just not been the best of starts from both the teams and that is why they are placed 9th and 10th on the table. Both the teams have conceded the maximum number of goals this season. The home side is the only side yet to keep a clean sheet this edition which is not a good sign if you are a Pune supporter. Their two talismanic players, Emiliano Alfaro and Marcelo Pereira have not made their mark so far in the tournament but they would like to do so today in front of their home fans. The away team is lacking goals up front and they would hope that Jeje Lalpekhlua fires in this crunch game. It is a big contest and both of them would like to get a win under their belts and get some momentum for their coming matches. Let's see how this match unfolds.
