FC Goa win another goal-fest
Party in Bengaluru as FC Goa's win here sees them qualify for the semifinals. It was a real goal treat here as the home side comes out on top of this 7-goal game. After trailing the first half 3-1, Mumbai City FC came out all guns blazing and pulled one back early in the second half. From there on it looked like the next goal would come from the tourists as they kept pressurizing the Gaurs. FC Goa though had other plans. They soaked in the initial pressure and 10 minutes before the regulation 90, Ferran Corominas restored their 2-goal lead. It looked improbable for Mumbai City FC to come back in this game and it was made impossible 7 minutes later as Mohammed Rafique's own goal put the game to bed. The Islanders with this loss fail to widen the gap between them and the chasing pack. FC Goa, meanwhile, go back to the top of the table and take Bengaluru FC to the semi-final.

Entertaining half of football!
What an excellent, high-paced and goal-filled half of football have we witnessed here in Goa. It was end-to-end stuff and it was the away side who took the lead in the 18th minute courtesy Rowllin Borges' deflected shot. The away fans' smile did not last long as FC Goa equalised just 2 minutes later. It was their star striker, Ferran Corominas who levelled things. Mumbai City FC threatened to take the lead again but it was Hugo Boumous who gave the home side the lead for the first time in this game. Mumbai City FC's backline seemed to lose concentration then as Jackichand Singh's lovely chip doubled their advantage. Bengaluru FC fans and players must have enjoyed the first half as FC Goa's lead will see them qualify. Mumbai City FC need to find a way to stop the home side as they are running away with this at the moment. Can the Islanders make a comeback or will the Gaurs go back to the top of the chart?

Blockbuster Wednesday!!!
It is time for match 80 in the Indian Super League 2019/20 and today, FC Goa host Mumbai City FC. It promises to be one of the most vital fixtures of the season so far. The home team will be eyeing to snatch the top spot from ATK FC, with both teams currently locked at 33 points. The Gaurs have already secured their place in the semi-finals, but they will not be looking to let loose as we close in on the business end of the tournament. Coming to Mumbai City FC, it is crucial for them to gain 3 points today. Right now, it a 3-horse race for the 4th spot, but if the Islanders win today, Odisha FC will be knocked out of that race, leaving only Chennaiyin FC as a threat to them. Mumbai City FC have goals coming in from all over the field this season, with 14 different goalscorers so far, the most by any team. They will receive a boost as their star-striker, Modou Sougou returns from his one-match suspension. However, Amine Chermiti will be suspended for this match which could be a setback for them. Mumbai City FC have an impeccable away record this season, having lost just one match on the road. That record will be put to the test by FC Goa who have the best attack in the league this season. Hugo Boumous has been on fire lately, and he will be ably supported by Brandon Fernandes, Jackichand Singh and Ferran Corominas. The task of stopping the most potent attack in the league will rely on the shoulders of Amrinder Singh, Mato Grgic, Rowllin Borges and Sarthak Golui. FC Goa's interim head coach, Clifford Miranda, has said that how both teams will be looking to win this match and gain 3 points, mirroring Mumbai City FC's head coach, Jorge Costa's thoughts. It promises to be a fascinating fixture with both teams going all out!
