Comeback completed!
NorthEast United FC have come from behind to gain all three points. What an effort from the away side! Chennaiyin FC continue to struggle in this year's ISL. They started off brilliantly going two goals ahead. NorthEast United FC then pulled one back but the hosts scored again to make it 3-1. However, two goals in quick succession for the visitors saw the two sides levelled at 3-3 at the first half break. In the second 45, we did not witness the same amount of goals but one was enough to give us a winner. The away side scored early through Rowllin Borges as he redeemed himself after conceding an own goal in the first half. They then sat back and tried to hit on the counter but could not create many openings. Chennaiyin FC, too, tried their very best but could not break the resolute NorthEast United FC's backline. Courtesy tonight's win, the Highlanders have moved to the top of the points table.

90'
Just out of the reach!
A touch is what Jeje Lalpekhlua needed there as Andrea Orlandi heads the cross from Gregory Nelson back across the goal from the right. But just out of the reach of Lalpekhlua. The three substitutes combined there and the move almost paid off.

Chance!
Inigo probably did not get the bounce he would have wanted but that was a chance. Andrea Orlandi lobs the ball into the box. Eli Sabia heads it down towards Inigo Calderon. The ball bounces before him and keeps on rising. He tries to ride on top of the bounce and shoot it downwards, wasn't able to do so and the ball goes over the goal.

10 minutes to go!
We are in the final phase of the game. The hosts are in search of an equalizer but time is running out here. They make a change to inject some fresh legs as Jeje Lalpekhlua comes in for Francisco Fernandes. NorthEast United FC also make a change as Provat Lakra replaces Redeem Tlang. An extra defender brought in, so they are happy to defend the lead out.

A weak effort from Francisco Fernandes. Raphael Augusto lays it off for him on the right-hand side of the box. He does take a shot but it is right in the hands of the keeper who collects it.

High, very high!
...was that shot from Robert Lalthlamuana. Redeem Tlang crosses it towards Tlang who is just outside the box on the left. He tries to kick it on the volley but does not meet it well and it goes way over the goal.

GOALLLL!
The tables have turned completely. NorthEast United FC have taken the lead. It was Rowllin Borges who scored an own goal early in the first half and now he redeems himself by giving the visitors the lead. A cross from the right is half-cleared and it falls towards Rowllin Borges. He takes a perfect shot and hits it nicely towards the right bottom corner, leaving the keeper with no chance.

No clear opening!
As of now! Both the teams are passing it around in the mid-field but can't find the final pass.
46'
Second 45...
Chennaiyin FC get us underway by passing the ball backwards. They now look to go ahead.
45'
Half time!
The ref blows the whistle and that is the end of the first half. What an enthralling one we witnessed. WOW! 6 goals in total, 3 apiece as the two teams head into the tunnel on level terms. It was the hosts who started off brilliantly, going 2 ahead in no time. The first one was an own goal and the second was scored by Thoi Singh. NorthEast United FC pulled one back though as Bartholomew Ogbeche scored. However, that joy was short-lived as Chennaiyin FC restored their 2 goal lead with another goal by Singh. The visitors then bounced back in some style with two goals in two minutes from their skipper, who also completed a hat-trick to ensure his team heads into the break 3-3. There is another half left and by the look of things, we are surely in for some more goals. Do join us in a while.
45'
Added time!
2 minutes have been added to the first half. Do we have another goal in store?
39'
GOALLL!
NorthEast United FC have equalized! Can you believe it! 6 goals in the first half already and it is a hat-trick for Bartholomew Ogbeche. Once again how cool was he there, just brilliant. Federico Gallego puts in a through ball to the centre which means Bartholomew is one-on-one with Karanjit Singh who rushes out of his line. Bartholomew Ogbeche goes past him with ease and then strokes the ball into the open net. 3-3 and we still have some time left in the half.

GOALLLLL!
NorthEast United FC have once again reduced the deficit to one. 5th goal of the half. Bartholomew Ogbeche gets his second and how beautiful was this goal! Rowllin Borges chips it over the defense and the elevation on that delivery is perfect. It goes above the head of the defender marking Ogbeche. The Nigerian then chests it forward and just calmly pokes it past the keeper to find the net.

GOALLL!
It is goals galore here in the first half! Thoi Singh scores his second to restore the two-goal advantage. A lucky goal you can say. Raphael Augusto drills in a low ball from the left towards Singh who tries to turn with the ball. However, he gets into a tangle but somehow, manages to backheel it inside the net.

GOALLLL!
NorthEast United FC have pulled one back! A defensive error you can say. The keeper though can also be blamed. Federico Gallego takes a tame shot from outside the box which Karanjit Singh fails to collect. Also, he does not push it far enough and it remains in the box. Eli Sabia tries to clear twice but does connect well. Bartholomew Ogbeche is quick to pounce onto the mistake as he taps the ball ahead and then hits it past the keeper to reduce the deficit to one. GAME ON!

The first of the game and it goes to a NorthEast United FC player. Federico Gallego is the first player to enter the ref's book as he brings down Anirudh Thapa on the left. Another chance to deliver the ball into the box for Chennaiyin FC, however, this one is cleared away.

Goal?
NO, IT IS OFFSIDE!!! Carlos Salom isn't happy but the ref was right there. Jerry Lalrinzuala floats in a delightful ball towards the far post. It is met by an attacker who heads it across goal. Carlos is there to meet it as he hits it inside the net. However, the linesman has his flag up and the goal does not count.
22'
FOUL!
Carlos Salom is brought down by Robert Lalthlamuana and concedes a free kick in a promising position down the right. A good delivery into the box and you never know.
15'
GOALLLL!
Chennaiyin FC have doubled their lead! What a start this is for them. A brilliant long ball by Jerry Lalrinzuala to set Isaac Vanmalsawma through on the left-hand side. He squares it in the box towards Thoi Singh who pokes it just before the keeper gets to it and sends it into the net. Pawan Kumar should be blamed here, he didn't anticipate the cross and should have been off his line a touch earlier. Nevertheless, the hosts won't care as they now have a good breathing space.

Cleared away!
Jerry Lalrinzuala somehow gets past the two defenders. He then tries to pick out an attacker in the box with a cross but it is a weak effort and Mislav Komorski clears it out.
5'
GOALLLLL!
Chennaiyin FC have taken the lead in as early as the 5th minute. It has come off a corner. Eli Sabia is claiming it but replays show it is an own goal. Rowllin Borges will get the unwanted credit. A corner is curled towards the near post. There are a few players who jump for it but the ball deflects off Borges and rolls into the back of his own net. The home crowd erupts.

And it goes to NorthEast United FC. Redeem Tlang passes it towards Federico Gallego who puts the former through on the left-hand side of the box. He dashes towards the byline and he tries to cross but Jerry Lalrinzualab blocks it and it goes out for a corner. Nothing productive from the set piece.

Matchday!
Hello and welcome to game no. 11 of this year's ISL. It is a clash between Chennaiyin FC and NorthEast United FC in the former's den. Last year's champions have not shown the same form as they did last year. They are yet to get off the mark after losing both their games so far. However, Chennai are still a strong unit and one would expect them to get their first win under the bag. The visitors, on the other hand, have lost one and drawn one. They have started this year's campaign on a bright note and would like to keep the momentum rolling. The Highlanders enjoy a better head-to-head record against the hosts and also, the last time these two sides faced each other, NorthEast emerged victorious. Let us hope we get an exciting encounter.
