Vital 3 points on the line!
Chennaiyin FC are all set to collide with Jamshedpur FC in Match 65 of this year's Indian Super League at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Both teams are precariously placed on the points table and every game from here on becomes very important to them. Currently, the home team is on a 2-match winning streak and would be hoping to extend their winning run to close in the gap with the top 4 teams. Their striking force has been in supreme form of late and the combination of Rafael Crivellaro, Andre Schembri, Nerijus Valskis has been doing an amazing job. There have been issues with their defensive line though and this is one area they would like to address. The Men of Steel started this edition on a promising note but then lost their way. However, they managed to return to winning ways in the last match which also snapped their 6-match winless streak. Sergio Castel has been the chief architect for them in front of goal and his absence was felt earlier by the visiting team. The Spaniard has returned now and in the last game, he played his part in the victory. Farukh Choudhary and Noe Acosta have been doing an efficient job and will be expected to play as a perfect foil for the star striker. Defensively, their situation is even worse than the home team, having not claimed a single clean sheet in the last 7 matches. Injury to Tiri will not help their cause and Jamshedpur FC will have their task cut-out to contain the in-form Chennaiyin FC frontline. With vital points on the line, we are expecting both teams to go all out for a win.
