Bengaluru FC in the Final!
Bengaluru FC have made it to the Final after putting a dominating show in front of their home crowd. It was a frustrating first half for them where three sitters were missed by Miku but they didn't lose hope. They started the second 45 on the front foot and bombarded the NorthEast box with attacks after attacks. Pawan Kumar made a few spectacular saves initially but then in the 72nd minute, Miku put all his bad form behind and scored the opening goal. The Blues didn't take their foot off the accelerator even after that and scored two more to make it a smooth sail for themselves in the Final. NorthEast fought hard but missed their star-striker and inspirational skipper's presence. That ends a very promising season for them where they showed outstanding form and surprised one and all with their turnaround from the last season.

All the NorthEast United FC players are caught off-guard and this opens a window of opportunity for Sunil to sprint towards the box, dribble past the keeper and whip it into the empty net.

He is being pressed by Nikhil Kadam but the youngster keeps his calm and chips it in the direction of the far post. Pawan Kumar gets a touch to it but the ball rebounds off the sidebar and falls to Dimas Delgado who finishes off the proceedings with a tap-in. He though after releasing his shot was tackled with a two-footed lunge by Redeem Tlang for which Redeem has been shown a yellow card.

49'
What a shot!
Nishu Kumar pulls one on goal, the distance between the goal and Nishu Kumar must be approximately 25-30 yards. But the technique is good enough to carry like a bullet on the left top corner. Pawan Kumar reacts quickly to dive and stop it.
46'
Second half
We are back for the next 45 and NorthEast United FC will get us underway.
NorthEast holding on!
Miku! Miku! Miku! Yes, three times Miku. Three chances for Miku. Three misses from Miku. The Venezuelan was in the thick of things in the first half and he missed three sitters to put Bengaluru ahead in this encounter. NorthEast United FC will be considering themselves lucky as their defense was found wanting on all those occasions. Anyway, they still have a one-goal advantage in Semi-Final 1 and would like to get watertight in their defense in the next half. The Highlanders also had a few shots on target in the first 45 but they were more reliant on counterattacks. Will those missed chances come back to haunt the Blues? Do join us in a short while to find out.

Sunil Chhetri versus Federico Gallego again. We have seen these two in a challenge and Sunil Chhetri again has pushed Federico Gallego to win the possession of the ball. The referee spots it, blows the whistle but leaves Sunil Chhetri with a warning.
33'
Poor shot
Miku has nearly cut past every NorthEast United FC defender to reach inside the box. He takes on a bunch of defenders before he gets in the box and finally, he takes a baby-shot towards the goal. It literally looked like Miku pushed a pass to Pawan Kumar.
30'
Long ball
Alejandro Garcia Barrera puts a long ball for Miku on the left flank. Miku heads it back in the box and Dimas Delgado is present there but fails to capitalize. The ball is been cleared out of harm's way by a NorthEast United FC defender.
25'
Poor attempt
Harmanjot Khabra puts a through ball for Udanta Singh who is sprinting towards the box. Udanta gets a good first touch, gets closer to the byline and cuts back for Miku. The Venenzuelan has all the time in the world to finish but he goes for power and the ball flies over the bar off his shot.
23'
Hearts in mouth
Nishu Kumar you beauty! Nishu crosses in a curling ball for Miku from the left wing. Miku responds well and puts in a dive to head the ball on goal, his effort though turns futile as the ball trickles past the sidebar.
20'
Tempers flying
Sunil Chhetri pushes Federico Gallego in a challenge. His aggressive behaviour is been spotted by the referee and he penalizes Bengaluru by giving NorthEast United FC the free kick.
14'

Bengaluru building up a good passing combination outside the box. Xisco Hernandez is in possession of the ball and Keegan Pereira charges at him. Battle for the Final!
Hello and welcome everyone. We are done with the first leg of both Semi-Finals and now we move to the second. The last match ended in a disappointment for Bengaluru but they need to buckle up and put that behind. They still have an away goal with them which definitely is an advantage. Since they are playing at home, it will surely give them the extra boost. Coming to the visitors, they looked very confident at their home where they won 2-1. They have the advantage but injuries to their key players have pegged them back a bit. In spite of a one-goal cushion currently, they will have to play out of their skins tonight to save it. Remember, even a draw will favour NorthEast but to approach this game with a defensive mindset won't be a good idea. The Blues have been unbeaten at home this season whereas the Highlanders have been the most successful team on the road. This is shaping up to be a cracking contest. Can the meanest defensive line of this edition deal with Bengaluru's star-studded front-line? The first finalist of 2018-19 is hiding behind that answer. Stay tuned, the action isn't far away.
