Dramatic finish
Wow! What a game we've had. Mumbai City FC take all three points with the late winner from Rowllin Borges. Remember the first goal in the first half by Subhasish Bose which had given visitors the lead, well it picked up from there on. The hosts got their first goal with the help of an own goal by Mato Grgic as he could not get away from the ball and deflected it inside his own net off his shoulder in the 58th minute to make things level. After the own goal, super sub, Diego Carlos put the ball in with a diving header to give the visitors the lead again. Bengaluru FC skipper Sunil Chhetri then found the back of the net to find the equalizer for the hosts through a penalty in the 88th minute. Eventually, the goal from Borges in injury time ended up as the winner. Bengaluru FC had the chance to equalize in the final seconds but Amrinder Singh made a crucial save to make sure the visitors bagged three points and the hosts taste their first defeat of the season.

Brilliant save
That could've been the equalizer but what a save from Amrinder Singh at the dying seconds. There's some action inside the box, just in front of the goal. Amrinder Singh jumps and looks to clear the ball away in the first attempt but he cannot do that clearly. The ball then falls to Erik Paartalu. He tucks the ball towards the goal but Amrinder is alert in going back and grabbing the ball to keep the ball away.

GOALLLLL!!!
Goal no. 3 for Mumbai City FC and there's no way Bengaluru FC can equalize now with just a few seconds left on the clock. What a goal. Rowllin Borges is the man. Paulo Machado takes a corner from the right flank and puts the ball inside the box. Subhasish Bose takes a header but it is not strong. It goes towards Rowllin Borges uppishly who heads it in past Gurpreet Singh Sandhu. The home crowd is stunned. Can the visitors hold on this lead?

As I said, they looked like the side more likelier to score and they have taken the lead! It is the sub, the super sub, I should say who has found the back of the net but that is an excellent cross from Raynier Fernandes. He receives a pass on the left. He crosses it towards the far post for Diego Carlos who scores with a diving header. Around 13 minutes to go, can the visitors hang on?

Mumbai City FC with the lead
An action-packed half of football comes to an end! A much-needed breather for us and the teams. It is the visitors who go in with the lead of one goal but it could have been easily a couple more. They scored early on through Subhasish Bose and then continued to look for another. Bengaluru FC also attacked but in doing so they were being exposed at the back. The hosts failed to create many clear-cut chances but the visitors had another golden opportunity in the dying moments of the first half when they were awarded a penalty. However, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu rose to the occasion and made a brilliant save. The game is brilliantly poised for the second half. Let's hope it is another excellent one.

Chance for the visitors to double their lead. They are awarded a penalty. Juanan brings down Amine Chermiti inside the box from behind and the referee is quick to point to the spot. It was an off the ball incident. Did not seem a certain penalty. It was more like the attacker ran into the defender than the other way round.

The referee calms things down and awards a free kick to the hosts. Also warnings for Erik Paartalu and Modou Sougou.

End-to-end stuff here! After Mumbai City FC win the ball back in their own box, they create an attack of their own as Rowllin Borges puts in a lovely long ball for Bipin Singh. He is into the box as he brings it down and takes a shot but it is blocked out for a corner.

Brilliant ball but good tackle

8'
Poor keeping
Bipin Singh makes a run down the left and then his cross is a weak one. It is too close to the keeper who fumbles and it goes out for a corner. Nothing from it though.

Toss
Bengaluru FC win the toss and they will attack from left to right.
National Anthem
Both the sets of players walk out for the Indian National Anthem.
Unbeaten Bengaluru FC welcome struggling Mumbai City FC in game no. 39 of the Indian Super League. Standing 3rd in the points table, a win here for the hosts would take them to the top of the table. The visitors, on the other hand, have not managed to bag all three points in their last 6 games. For the hosts, goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu has been brilliant in defending the goal for and is one of the reasons why the side is yet to lose a game. The likes of Juanan, Harmanjot Khabra, and Nishu Kumar have been exceptional in defence and have made the task a little easier for Sandhu. Skipper Chhetri along with Dimas Delgado, Udanta Singh and Ashique Kuruniyan will have to carry the attacking burden with Bengaluru FC struggling to find the back of the net. The task for the visitors will not be easy against the attacking forwards of the hosts who can trouble the best of defensive units on their day. Pratik Chaudhari, Subhasish Bose, and Sarthak Golui will have to be at their best to stop the defending champions from scoring. Their forwards have done really well with the likes of Mohamed Larbi, Amine Chermiti attacking well to find the back of the net. A positive thing that stands in Mumbai City FC's favour will be their away record as they are unbeaten on the road this season. We've got an interesting game ahead. Will the hosts be able to keep their winning streak or will the visitors bag their second win of the season?
