Till next time!
Right, then! We need a breather from all this action. Bengaluru are 4th while Jamshedpur are 2nd on the table. Plenty of more action coming your way, as Delhi Dynamos FC host ATK on 17th October at 1930 IST. Do join in for that. Goodbye!
Awards
The Club Award is shared by both teams as the game ended in a draw. The Limitless Player of the Match is Yumnam Raju and the Winning Pass of the Match goes to Harmanjot Khabra for his assist to Sunil Chhetri. As Gourav Mukhi is the Emerging Player, Nishu Kumar is the Hero of the Match.
Full Time
Best game of the season so far. Hands down. So much action, so much drama, so much heartbreak. Very rarely does it happen that you witness the Sree Kanteerava Stadium silent. Can't blame them either. After Nishu Kumar's first half goal, Bengaluru carried the momentum forward in the second and took the attack to the tourists. Though, against the run of play, their 16-year old debutant scored the equalizer. It was short lived, however, as Sunil Chhetri put his side back in front. It seemed all but over, but deep in stoppage time, Sergio Cidoncha brought things back on level terms again, earning his side a hard-earned point. That will sting the Bengaluru captain even more though, as just a few seconds before the away side scored their second goal, he missed a one-on-one at the other end. Plenty of talking points for later. A superb game though.

There it is!
The game comes to a close. It ends with the scoreline reading Bengaluru FC 2-2 Jamshedpur FC.

GOOOAAALLLLL!!!! 2-2!!
Oh dear me! The stadium has gone silent. Chhetri just missed at the other end and Jamshedpur scored here now. Cidoncha sets up Mario Arques on the right, the latter cuts it back in to the former waiting inside the box. Cidoncha places this first time and beats Gurpreet Singh Sandhu at the far post. Superb stuff.

Hits the post!!!
Miku puts Chhetri through with a lovely ball which pierces the entire Jamshedpur backline. The Bengaluru skipper is one-on-one with the keeper and looks to place it in the bottom left corner, but it hits the upright and goes away from danger.

Added Time
4 minutes signalled by the fourth official. Is there another late twist left in this game?

GOOOAAALLL!!!
Bengaluru back in the lead again and it's their skipper who puts them back in front with his first of the season. And what a goal too. Harmanjot Khabra puts in a long diagonal from the right inside the box and Chhetri attacks this with a lot of purpose. He rises, holds off Yumnam Raju and directs the header past the keeper in the bottom left corner. All class this man. What a goal.

Tempers flaring in Bengaluru
An unnecessary clash between Carlos Calvo and Albert Serran breaks a fight out in the middle. Everyone gets involved and the match officials have a big job on their hands now. To their credit, they do well to manage the situation.
81'
GOAL! 1-1!
Game on here! The youngest player to debut in the ISL has scored in his first game itself. Talk about a dream start. A goal completely against the run of play. Mario Arques chips it beautifully seeing Gourav Mukhi run in behind the Bengaluru defense. Superb ball, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu tries coming out but is in no man's land. The finish is superb from the 16-year old as he slots it in the bottom right corner.

Penalty for Bengaluru?
Bikash Jairu lobs the header behind and Miku rushes to it. He's brought down by Yumnam Raju on the left inside the box but the Venezuelan carries on. Goes close to the byline, gets inside and shoots, but the keeper saves it.
72'
Double change for Jamshedpur FC
They've used all three with this. Jerry Mawhmingthanga and Tim Cahill are taken off for Gourav Mukhi (who is now the youngest player to play the ISL) and Carlos Calvo.

All happening here
The game's opened up now. Plenty happening, lots of spaces to attack and you can feel something's just around the corner...
58'
Wonderful strike
Substitute Mobashir Rahman wastes no time in having a go at goal. It's a pretty good one too as Gurpreet Singh Sandhu has to put in a serious dive to his left to parry it out. Was going in the top right corner.
57'
Was that a penalty?
Did seem like it from here. Jerry is through on the right, he gets inside the box but is brought down rather harshly by Nishu Kumar. Big shouts for the penalty go up but the referee doesn't think so.
54'
Jamshedpur FC change
That mishap was the last contribution Raju Gaikwad will make in this game. He's taken off for Mobashir Rahman.
54'
Last-ditch block from Yumnam Raju
Miku bursts forward from the right and drills in a low ball inside the box. Raju Gaikwad could have easily cleared it away but he makes a total mess of it. Sunil Chhetri would have scored, but Yumnam just manages to poke it away at the last second.

Another Bengaluru chance
They're growing in confidence after that goal. Udanta crosses it in from the right. Raju Gaikwad heads it away but straight into Chhetri's path. He takes a touch, sets himself up and fires it, looking for the far bottom corner. Drills it wide though.
50'
Decent chance
Miku and Chhetri combine, or at least try to. The Venezuelan has the ball inside the box on the right and seeing his skipper attacking the space in the 6-yard box, drills in a low ball. Not enough space, so the keeper gets low and collects it.
46'
Second Half
We are back underway. Bengaluru FC get the ball rolling and the action resumes...
Half Time
What was a rather cagey half for the most part was brought to life by a stunner from Nishu Kumar. Not much was happening, but towards the end of the half, some chances were opening up. The hosts had most of them, with Xisco Hernandez volley going ever so wide. But just at the stroke of the break, Nishu Kumar put his side in the lead, giving his side a big advantage. Jamshedpur will feel a bit let down by that, as they were solid at the back till that moment. Though, they will remember that Bengaluru are only a goal ahead, so can always come back in the second 45. Join us for that in some time.
45'
Time for the break
The referee blows the whistle and brings an end to this half.
45'
Yellow Card
Yellow Card - Bengaluru FC : Erik Paartalu
45'
Added Time
2 minutes of stoppage time. There weren't many interruptions in the half, so Bengaluru will be happy with that number.
45'
GOOAAALLLL!!!!!
Nishu Kumar puts his team in front. Tremendous volley. Xisco Hernandez takes the free kick from the right and puts it in. Tiri heads it out but only as far as Kumar. He chests it down and then bangs it into the top left corner, leaving Subhasish Roy with no chance of stopping it.
43'
What a hit, son!
He'll feel unfortunate it didn't go in. Connected so sweetly. Chhetri puts the ball in from the right and right towards Xisco Hernandez waiting on the far side. Shoots the volley first time with his left and it's threatening to go inside the far corner. Miku there even tries to direct it back but it's just off target.

First yellow of the game
Yumnam Raju goes in the book for a sloppy challenge on Sunil Chhetri. He clatters into the Bengaluru captain from behind and the referee instantly shows him yellow.

35'
Jamshedpur trying to attack
Michael Soosairaj hares forward on the left wing. Looks up, has bodies inside the box, so he crosses it in. Though, it's blocked out easily by Albert Serran. Another cross is hit, this goes in, but nothing comes off it.
26'
Game's opened up a bit
Some chances being created now, even though they aren't exactly clear-cut ones. Bengaluru FC on the front foot, even though it is slightly.
21'
Too much
Jerry receives the ball on the right flank and he has a lot of space to work with here. He sees Cahill attacking inside the box so crosses it, but overhits it and it goes way over and to the other side. Poor, really.
15'
Shot on goal
Rahul Bheke shows some aggressive play, presses and wins the ball before giving it to Xisco Hernandez. He lines it up and fires it on goal, but it's a tame one. Easy save for the keeper.
13'
Great chance missed
There comes the first one of the game. Miku plays Udanta through on the right and the winger is away as he's so fast. Has a lot of room to run forward in, gets inside the box and squares it, only for Tiri to clear it away. Probably this could be the moment to open things up?
8'
No chance created yet
The ball is being knocked around in midfield, without much penetration. A lot of long balls with a plenty of inaccurate passes. Need to be more patient, both teams, as they are looking for the killer ball too early. Some patience is the need of the hour.
4'
Scrappy start
Either side is yet to get into the groove. Still getting a feel of things, from the looks of it. Rest assured though, won't take much longer for things to liven up.
1'
Kick off
We're underway! Jamshedpur FC kick things off but then can't keep possession of the ball for too long. Hoof it forward and then lose it immediately.
Toss
Bengaluru FC win the toss and they will attack from left to right in the first half.
National Anthem
Both teams are out of the tunnel for the Indian national anthem.

Howdy!
Hello and welcome, folks. Match no.9 will take place between the well-balanced Bengaluru FC and the resolute Jamshedpur FC at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium. The deafening venue has known to be a daunting place for teams to visit, and often it stands at the 12th man behind the side. A good contest awaits, as the hosts and the visitors have a superb home and away record respectively. Out of their 9 home games last season, Bengaluru won 6, lost 2 and drew just 1. Also kept the joint-highest clean sheets (4) at home, along with Kerala Blasters. The challenge tonight won't be an easy one by any means. Jamshedpur won 4 out of 9 matches away from home in the previous campaign. Had 5 clean sheets on the road, which was the most any travelling team. Though, scoring away from home has been a bit of an issue for them overall. They did, however, beat Mumbai by 2 goals at the Mumbai Football Arena, so they come into this with some momentum. Also, what will excite the Jamshedpur fans and neutrals alike, is that Tim Cahill is going to start this game. Everyone knows how good he is, so another thing to look forward to. Should be a good one between two good sides.
