ATK FC breeze into the semis!
A second half hat-trick from star striker Roy Krishna has taken the home side into the semis after failing to qualify for the past two seasons. Post a drab first half, the hosts came out all guns blazing in the second and took the lead in the 49th minute. Roy Krishna then doubled and tripled the lead by the 63rd minute with some marvellous goals. That almost killed the game for the away side but Manuel Onwu pulled one back for the tourists. The task in hand though was too tough for Odisha FC and they couldn't muster a comeback and fail to cover ground on 4th placed Mumbai City FC. ATK FC become the second team to qualify for the semi-final after FC Goa and they do so by going top of the table as well.

GOALLL!!!
Hat-trick for Roy Krishna and we are running out of adjectives to describe this awesome striker. Marcos Tebar is guilty of losing the ball as Armando Sosa Pena wins the ball from him inside his own half. Jayesh Rane gets to the loose ball and puts in a cross at the near post. Roy Krishna takes a good touch and then buries it past Francisco Dorronsoro with his right foot to get his hat-trick. The Fijian goes to the top of the pile and is the leading goalscorer of this season now. What a dream debut season this man has had!

GOALLL!!!
Roy Krishna has doubled the lead and adds to the joy of all the ATK FC fans. Their qualification for the semi-finals looks all but set now. Armando Sosa Pena plays a delightful long ball on the left to find Roy Krishna who times his run to perfection. He dashes forward with it, shows ability and guile as Francisco Dorronsoro comes out of his line. The ATK FC striker keeps his composure in front of goal and slots it home. The dancing shoes are on for him and other ATK FC players as they are on cloud 9!

Chance but unable to bury
Xisco Hernandez gets a golden opportunity to equalize but he fails to make the most of it. Nandhakumar Sekar puts in a delightful cross inside the box in the centre to find Xisco Hernandez's run. He looks to slot it first time with his slide but hits it straight to Arindam Bhattacharja who initially blocks it with body and then holds onto the loose ball.

Jayesh Rane gets the ball outside the box on the right. He tries to curl it in but cannot get the ball to dip in and it goes into the stands.
49'
GOALLL!!!
The home fans are up in celebrations as their star striker Roy Krishna has given them the lead. Javier Hernandez whips in an inswinging cross from the right, it beats the man at the near post and goes low towards the centre to find Roy Krishna. Second half!
We are back for the second half and the home side gets us underway for this one. No half time substitutions from either side.
Goalless half in Kolkata
It has been a midfield muddle in the first half here in Kolkata. Both sides have battled in the midfield but neither side has managed to trouble the opposition goalkeepers. Francisco Dorronsoro was the busier of the two but he was not tested enough. This result works for ATK FC as they will seal their place in the semi-final even with a draw. But Odisha FC will have to gather all three points to close the gap with the top four. Both teams will need to put on their shooting boots if they are to take all three points in this game.

Narayan Das is booked!
That's a silly foul in a very dangerous position, just outside the box. Das senses a cross coming towards his box and finds Roy Krishna chasing it. Prabir turns and pushes down the Fijian striker. It's a no-brainer for the referee as he flashes the yellow card.

Must-win for Odisha FC!
Match 77 of this season's Indian Super League holds great importance for both the teams involved but slightly more for Odisha FC as their qualification hope is hanging in the balance. They lost their last match against FC Goa and that has put them in a precarious situation. Now, they cannot afford any more slip-ups and also will have to hope that Mumbai and Chennaiyin drop points to favour them. It's been a decent season for them where they were always in the reckoning. There was a phase where they won four matches on the bounce to enter the top four but back-to-back losses at the business end of the tournament have thrown them outside the top-four. Regarding their performance, Manuel Onwu has stepped up well in the absence of Aridane Santana and the touring team would be hopeful that the Spaniard carries out the attacking duties in the upcoming crucial ties too. ATK, on the flip side, are flying high this season and a win in this match will put them at the summit of the points table. They have been equally good at both ends of the pitch and come across as a well-balanced and in-form unit. In Roy Krishna, David Williams and Edu Garcia, they have quality in the attacking third while the likes of Agustin Iniguez and Sumit Rathi have been carrying out the defensive duties efficiently. The hosts would be looking to earn three points to secure their spot in the semi-finals and even in the case of a draw, the 2-time champions will go through. Promises to be an electric contest with plenty at stake.
