ATK FC displace FC Goa to top the table
What a brilliant half for ATK FC and what a sweet victory for them! They are enjoying the applause from the home crowd now and deserve every bit of the appreciation they are getting. The 2-time champions have managed to topple one of the top sides in this tournament. While the two goals came from Pritam Kotal and Jayesh Rane in the 47th and 88th minute respectively, one would have to say that Roy Krishna deserves equal credit for both the goals. ATK FC made more attacks in this half and hardly allowed FC Goa any opening. The closest they got to open their account was in the 68th minute when Seiminlen Doungel failed to beat the keeper from a close range. Eventually, a brilliant game for them and they now take the top position on goal difference.

Goalless half

Crucial 3 points at stake!
Match 62 of this year's Indian Super League will see ATK FC host FC Goa at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata. The home side suffered an unexpected loss in their previous encounter against Kerala Blasters FC which disrupted their unbeaten home run and they would be eager to bounce back and consolidate their position on the points table. They are currently placed third and a win this evening can take them to the top. Their success this season has been mainly due to the combination of Roy Krishna and David Williams and the latter was certainly missed in the last game. The Australian will be missing this match also but the possible return of Edu Garcia will boost their confidence. FC Goa have shown great form this season and would be looking to widen the gap with other teams on the table. The form of Corominas and Boumous has been a big boost for them and the likes of Seiminlen Doungel and Jackichand Singh have also played their part. It is going to be a stern test for both the defensive units and whoever manages to hold the fort better will come out on top. Expect an entertaining game.
