Later, he opts for the VAR review and then changes it to the red card. Embolo is visibly shocked as he continues to request the referee to let him continue but he has been asked to leave. Switzerland are a 10-man attack now.

Ricardo Rodriguez picks out Dan Ndoye with a well-timed pass inside the penalty area, and the forward calmly slots the ball into the bottom-right corner, beating Emiliano Martinez to bring Switzerland level.
