Euro 2016: Poland Enter Quarter-Final After Thrilling Win Over Switzerland
Poland defeated a spirited Switzerland side 5-4 on penalties as they became the first team to qualify for the quarter-finals of Euro 2016

However, Xherdan Shaqiri scored a magnificent bicycle kick goal in the 82nd minute to put Switzerland back on level terms.
Switzerland and Poland slugged it out in extra time but no team managed to break the deadlock.
Poland converted all their chances while for Switzerland, Granit Xhaka missed as the Poles won the match 5-4 on penalties.
Poland became the first team to qualify for the quarter-finals as their good form continued
In another last 16 match between Wales and Northern Ireland, the score remained 0-0 in the first-half.
The first-half also saw a goal from Aaron Ramsey being cancelled due to off-side.
The deadlock was broken in the 75th minute as Northern Ireland's Gareth McAuley scored an own-goal.
Courtesy the own goal, Gareth Bale's Wales made their maiden entry into the Euro quarter-finals.
In the final Round of 16 match on Saturday, Portugal took on Croatia and much was expected from the talismanic Cristiano Ronaldo
Despite repeated attempts the regulation period ended 0-0 and the match headed into extra time
It was Ricardo Quaresma's goal in the 117th minute which separated both the sides, pushing Portugal into the quarter-finals
Portugal will now clash against Poland in the quarterfinals of Euro 2016 in Marseille on June 30
