For India's most eligible cricket bachelors, it's the season for weddings. After Harbhajan Singh, it's Yuvraj Singh's turn to get married. Both have Bollywood connections.
According to a report in www.sportswagon.in, Yuvraj is set to tie the knot with British-born model-cum-actress Hazel Keech in February next year. The couple had been dating over the past few months. However, Yuvraj Singh later denied the development on Twitter.
The 33-year-old 2011 World Cup-winning superstar will marry Hazel in traditional fashion the Hansaliwale Gurdwara in District Fatehgarh Sahib near Chandigarh. Sources said that the couple will host a reception party in Delhi the following day.
Hazel was born in Essex to an English father and a Mauritian mother.
Yuvraj has dated Bollywood actress Kim Sharma in the past and was also linked with Deepika Padukone. Hazel has appeared in a couple of films and appeared in TV commercials. She was voted out by the audience in the first week of the popular TV reality show, Bigg Boss 7.
In October, Yuvraj had spoken to www.sportswagon.in saying that he wanted to get married, but a date was yet to be decided. Originally, his wedding date was slated to be December 13 (a day after his 34th birthday), but due to a death in the family the wedding had to be postponed.
Incidentally, December 13 is the day Yuvraj's teammate and close friend Rohit Sharma is getting married.
Yuvraj and Hazel attended Harbhajan and UK-born Bollywood actress Geeta Basra's reception on Sunday in Delhi. The couple certainly attracted a lot of attention at the party in five-star hotel.
Recently, Yuvraj visited a temple in Bangalore along with his mother Shabnam, Hazel and friends.
