Shubman Gill News | Shubman Gill To Play 2nd Test Against South Africa?
Indian cricket team batting coach Sitanshu Kotak provided a major fitness update on skipper Shubman Gill ahead of the second Test match against South Africa in Guwahati starting Saturday. Gill, who suffered a neck injury during the first Test in Kolkata, did not train on Tuesday and Kotak revealed that the youngster will undergo a fitness test on Friday. While sources told NDTV that Gill will not take part in the match, Kotak said that the physios and doctors will take the final call before adding that it is very important that Gill recovers properly and there are no chances of the neck spasm occurring again.
