India Beat Pakistan In Thrilling Final, Clinch Asian Games Cricket Gold

Tilak Varma and Washington Sundar delivered exemplary performances as India defeated Pakistan by 19 runs in the Asian Games 2026, men's cricket final on Saturday in Nisshin. In the chase of 212, Hasan Nawaz stood like a lone warrior for Pakistan, scoring 96 off 51 balls. For India, Sundar, Axar Patel and Shivam Dube scalped two wickets each. Earlier, India posted a whopping total of 211/6 in 20 overs against Pakistan in the Aisan Games 2026, men's cricket final on Saturday in Nisshin. Opener Abhishek Sharma (61 off 28) set the tone while Tilak Varma (51 unbeaten off 22) and Shivam Dubey (27 off 14) took India past the 200-run mark. With this win, India successfully defended their men's cricket gold medal and also added the 19th gold medal to India's tally in the ongoing edition of Asian Games.
