Asia Cup Trophy Still Missing After 23 Days, BCCI To Raise Issue With ICC In Dubai

Nearly three weeks after India's Asia Cup triumph, the winning team is yet to receive the trophy. According to BCCI sources, back-channel talks with the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) are ongoing to resolve the issue. The trophy reportedly remains in the ACC office under the custody of its chief, Mohsin Naqvi, after Indian players refused to accept it from him during the presentation ceremony. The BCCI has warned Naqvi against raising complaints to ICC members and is now preparing to officially bring the matter up at the ICC meeting in Dubai this November. The row stems from Naqvi's alleged attempt to politicize the incident after India's refusal, escalating tensions between the BCCI and ACC.
