After filing a 12,000-page reply to BCCI's showcause notice, suspended IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi on Saturday said his voluminous response contained all the answers to the "false" allegations against him.
"When anyone is falsely accused - it is there duty to respond and not react. So one responds by making all that is true available. That is what I did. It may be long. But it is there for all to see now," he wrote on his twitter page.
Modi filed his reply through lawyer Mehmood Abdi, who handed over six cartons of papers to BCCI chief administrative officer Ratnakar Shetty at the Board's headquarters in Mumbai.
"All I have to say for the moment is I have replied in complete details to all charges even though there was no complaints, but as if there was," he wrote in another tweet.
Modi also said he will hold a press conference "at an appropriate time" and will soon reply to the second showcause notice.
"It's best to allow my colleagues time to go through my reply. We spent weeks putting it."
