"We have decided to suspend them until the conclusion of the inquiry probing the allegations," ARM Aroos, the head of the SLC's umpires committee, said.
The decision comes a day after the ICC suspended the six umpires, which also included Pakistani and Bangladeshi umpires, pending the completion of an inquiry against them.
Aroos said two of the three Sri Lankan umpires had appeared before the committee today and denied allegations in lengthy written statements.
"These will now be referred to both SLC disciplinary committee and the anti-corruption unit. Both will jointly carry out investigations and submit a report to the SLC executive committee before October 20," Aroos said.
Till then all three umpires have been barred from officiating in matches.
Three Sri Lankam umpires -- Gamini Dissanayaka, Sagara Gallage and Winston de la Zilwa -- were among the six umpires who allegedly had agreed to match fixing during a sting operation conducted by India TV.
