David Eddison Bernard Profile

David Bernard is a stylish and tall all-rounder who impressed one and all with some consistent performances for the West Indian B team. After a good run he was elected to the Jamaican side for the 2002-03 season and he gave a reminder to the selectors with some spectacular all-round performances.

Bernard was rewarded with a Test call up for the series against Australia in 2003. He also ended up playing four ODIs in the same year but a poor run of form saw him being dropped from the side. He returned to the domestic circuit and with a solid performance in 2008/09 earned a recall into the national side for the tour to England and then for the home ODI series against India. Bernard played his last ODI against South Africa in 2010.
