Young Oliver Hannon-Dalby made his way to Yorkshire’s first-class side in 2008 and instantly made an impact as he claimed Mark Ramprakash as his maiden wicket. In 2010, a fifer against Warwickshire and another one against Somerset that followed made people around him sit up and take notice. Few quiet appearances followed but with age on his side, improvement is bound to come. In 2012, he was part of Yorkshire’s T20 side that lost to Hampshire in the finals of their domestic T20 tournament. However, finishing as runners-up, they were given an opportunity to play in their first-ever Champions League T20, of which Oliver was a part.
