Izatullah Dawlatzai is a right-hand batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler who played for the Afghanistan Under-19 cricket team which qualified for the 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in New Zealand, for the first time in their history.
Dawlatzai made his first-class debut against Kenya in Nairobi in 2010. Later, he made is One Day International debut against Kenya in the 2nd ODI which was also his debut List-A match.
