Nicky Boje, former South African left-arm spinner who was wanted in India for his alleged role in the 2000 match-fixing case, will participate in the Mumbai Marathon on January 17.

South Africa will tour the India sub-continent later this year. Spin bowlers will hold the key on wickets in India and Bangladesh.

Ali Bacher was reacting to the news that Delhi Police have named deceased former South Africa captain Hansie Cronje as an accused in the match-fixing scandal of 2000.

The case dates back to the year 2000 when the Crime Branch of Delhi Police revealed that an India-South Africa One Day International (ODI) match played in March was fixed.
