Jason John Krejza Profile
Jason Krejza’s entry into international cricket was marked with bittersweet experiences, as he collected impressive figures of 8 wickets, but also ended up conceding more runs than anyone else on his Test debut in 2008.
Before his Test call-up, Krejza gave some solid performances for his state, Tasmania and climbed the first step towards national contention. He was selected to play for Australia A, eventually leading to his selection in the national team. His move from New South Wales to Tasmania was a productive one, as it gave him more opportunities to show his talent ahead of established bowlers. However, it was his debut season with NSW that fetched him all the attention, as he dismissed Michael Bevan thrice. Apart from being an off-spinner who is capable of a decent turn, “Krazy” as he is nicknamed, has a strong batting base with some solid performances at the first-class level.
In 2011, Krejza went on to make his ODI debut against England, after spending a few years in wilderness.
