Dhoni was honoured with the rank by the Territorial Army last year and has now been invited to the state to promote cricket and boost morale of the soldiers at the border.

The soldiers were excited to see the cricketer amidst them.

Dhoni is also expected to watch a match of the Kashmir Premier League, an initiative begun by the Army.
