Jasprit Bumrah (L) also joined the party and removed three Zimbabwe batsmen, including the dangerous Elton Chigumbura.
Indian spinners Axar Patel (in photo) and Yuzvendra Chahal complemented the pacers well and didn't leak too many runs.
Peter Moor tried his best to bring hosts back on track but his dismissal ended Zimbabwe's hopes of reaching a competitive total. They finally ended their innings on 99/9.
Sran was literally unplayable as finished with the figures of 4/10, the best by an Indian bowler on T20 debut.
In reply, Mandeep Singh (in photo), who scored his maiden T20 fifty, and KL Rahul batted sensibly as their unbeaten 103-run opening stand helped India thrash Zimbabwe by 10 wickets.
With this win, India levelled the series 1-1. The decider will now take place on Wednesday.
