1st Test: Pakistan in command against Sri Lanka

Pakistan took control of the opening Test against Sri Lanka on Thursday. On Day 3 of the Test - being played in Abu Dhabi, young Bilawal Bhatti struck twice to hurt the opposition and restrict them to a lead of just seven with six wickets left.

Sri Lanka's 2nd innings was on track with Kaushal Silva hitting 81 runs.

Silva had Kumar Sangakkara at the other end and the two put on 99 runs for the second wicket.

Sangakkara though was claimed by Bhatti, on 55.

Bhatti then struck of the very next ball, dismissing veteran Mahela Jayawardene.

While Sri Lanka ended the day on 186/4, it was Misbah-ul-Haq's century which had earlier highlighted the proceedings.

He scored 135.

It was Rangana Herath who finally ended Misbah's innings.

His team though now has an uphill task of mounting a challenging target with the bat.
