Steams in from around the wicket and hits the deck hard, on off, Ruan de Swardt hops back to defend it down onto the deck. The ball nips back in and catches the bottom part of the bat. Moreki angles it across the left-hander, on a back of a length, outside off, Rachin Ravindra gets tempted by the width on offer and goes after it without any foot movement. It stays lower than Rachin would have expected and catches the bottom edge of the bat which goes back on to clatter into the stumps. Rachin is dejected as he starts to trudge off.  145/4

Piedt gives the ball air and bowls it full, on off and middle, Will Young shimmies down the track and tries to go down town with the spin. The bat turns in his hands and he fails to get the desired connection. Hits it flat and straight down the throat of wide long on where Ruan de Swardt reverse cups it in front of his face. Dane Paterson hits the deck hard and bowls it outside off, gets the ball to nip back in a tough and it shoots off the deck as well. Tom Blundell is standing outside his crease and looks to lift the ball to let the ball pass. It gets rushed in doing so and he fails to get the bat out of the line of the ball. Tosses it up does Piedt, full and turning in sharply, on off, Glenn Phillips gets a good stride in to keep it out. The ball spins in to catch the inside edge and it lobs up off the pads to the keeper, Clyde Fortuin who takes the catch with ease. Short of a length on off, Matt Henry punches this to extra-cover and looks for the run but Neil Wagner says no and sends him back. Henry has to turn around and scampers back to save his wicket but the throw was a good one from Zubayr Hamza and just above the stumps as the keeper, Clyde Fortuin did the rest by removing the bails.  183/9
