Another one-sided affair ends. Zimbabwe continue to slip downhill, without showing any signs of getting up and putting up a fight. Pakistan, on the other hand, carry on with their dream run. It has been a complete mismatch so far. Things look gloomy for the hosts but they have one more opportunity to prove that they belong at this level. Join us for one final time on this tour on 22nd July at 0915 Local (0715 GMT). Till then, cheers!
Pakistan skipper, Sarfraz Ahmed says that Zaman and Imam played really well and he enjoyed their strokeplay. Mentions that it is a good thing that the top order is contributing heavily and also appreciates Asif Ali for his big-hitting prowess. States that Chigumbura and Tiripano batted well for Zimbabwe. States that their target was to bowl the opposition out under 160 and they executed their plans too. Ends by saying that they will try their level best to win the next game.
Man of the Match, Fakhar Zaman says that Imam-ul-Haq played really well and he got good support from him. Feels that this was his day and he is happy about scoring a double ton. States that their coach, Mickey Arthur had told before the game that if they win the toss, they will bat. Adds that he wanted him to score a double ton. Mentions that it was a long day for him and he will get some treatment from the physio. Ends by saying that he will not try to give the middle order a chance in the next game and smiles about it.
Zimbabwe skipper, Hamilton Masakadza says that it is not getting any easier for them. Mentions that they were never in the game. Credits Zaman for playing brilliantly and they found it tough to contain him. States that they were outplayed in all the three departments. Admits that a target of 400 is always difficult and they needed to play shots from the word go. Ends by saying that they will try to put in a better performance on Sunday.
After the domination by the Pakistan batsmen, their bowlers stepped up and cornered the Zimbabwean batsmen. It was a clinical bowling show with every bowler putting in their best and Shadab Khan with a 4-wicket haul stood out the most. Apart from the stand between Elton Chigumbura and Donald Tiripano, which in a way only delayed the inevitable, there was no resistance offered. Chasing 400 was never going to be easy and to be honest, no one expected them to do that either. But a little bit of fight would have done their confidence a world of good.
For a change, Pakistan changed the plot of this ODI. They chose to bat first and then posted their highest-ever score in ODIs. We witnessed plenty of records as Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq raised the first-ever 300-plus stand for the opening wicket. The former also broke the 21-year old record by surpassing Saeed Anwar's 194 and becoming the first double centurion for Pakistan in this format.
Zimbabwe humbled again. Zimbabwe embarrassed again. Zimbabwe surrendered again. This has been the story of this bilateral series and the script remains the same. No fight presented by the African minnows. They are making it a habit of getting steamrolled. In a way, Fakhar Zaman alone has beaten Zimbabwe by 55 runs. In complete shambles, Zimbabwe. This is Pakistan's second-biggest victory in ODIs (in terms of runs) and the biggest win ever in Bulawayo.

Shoaib Malik To Tendai Chisoro OUT!
OUT! Nine down. Malik also has a wicket. He lets out a loopy full ball around middle, from 'round the wicket, Chisoro clears his front leg to slog it over the leg side. But the ball catches the top edge and goes high up in the air. Usman Khan settles underneath it at long off and takes the skier safely. End is nigh.
Blessing Muzarabani is in next.
