Sikandar Raza says the momentum shifted when they leaked 40 odd runs in the last few overs. Adds they need to train smartly and to upskill themselves, the individuals need to put their hands up and learn from this game. Shares they'll debrief tomorrow and hope they bounce back well. Mentions there's some discomfort in his leg.
...Presentation...
A complete performance from Pakistan's point of view. They'll be really happy with how they performed. They had an inexperienced squad but the likes of Usman Khan, Tayyab Tahir and Irfan Khan took the opportunity with the bat. It was a collective batting performance while the spin duo, Sufiyan Muqeem and Abrar Ahmed spun the web around Zimbabwe as they picked six wickets overall. Haris Rauf was excellent as well, as he scalped two wickets. Zimbabwe on the other hand dropped a couple of catches at crucial stages and lost wickets at pivotal events. They'll hope for a better performance in the second game.
A wonderful bowling performance from Pakistan and they go 1-0 up in the series. Honestly, anything above 150 would be hard for Zimbabwe but they tried hard. They lost two wickets inside the Powerplay but scored more than 50 in the process. Raza and Tadiwanashe Marumani build a good partnership but an unfortunate run out to the latter saw a quick collapse in the batting order. Raza held the key but pulled his hamstring while batting and was not at his best after that. Once Raza was dismissed it was all over for Zimbabwe.
