Brendan Taylor is named the Man of the Match. That's all we have from this game. Do join us back as the next set of games will be starting in a while.
Zimbabwe got off to an average start but made sure that they didn't lose many wickets. After a period where boundaries dried up, the duo of Taylor and Williams scored 25 off the 17th and 18th over. That got the equation to change and eventually, Sean Williams did well enough but when he got out, Sibanda did the job with a biggie when 1 was required off 1 ball!
Netherlands did well in the first innings. After an initial loss of wickets, the Cooper brothers got together but it was the right-hander, Tom who led the fight all along the way to the last and made sure that Netherlands make at least 140.
Phew, one hell of a match when at one stage, it looked like Zimbabwe will sail through! All thanks to the wonderful efforts of Ahsan Malik and van der Gugten. Pieter Seelaar did a sterling job at the start of the second innings nevertheless. Some lucky runs in the last over followed by a gutsy six off the last ball by Sibanda has kept Zimbabwe somewhere in the hunt.

Ahsan Malik To Vusi Sibanda
SIX! HO! HO! HO! Take that for a finish! Zimbabwe win by 5 wickets! Malik puts it on a full length around middle and off, Sibanda clears his front leg and smokes it high and handsome over long on for a biggie. The Zimbabwean dug out erupt in joy. Skipper Brendan Taylor cannot hide his emotions and screams in celebration. This was an extraordinary finish to a rather dull match. Zimbabwe have kept their hopes alive with his victory!
Timycen Maruma walks in. He'll be at the non-striker's end.

Ahsan Malik To Sean Williams OUT!
OUT! Gone! Run out! Malik delivers a yorker, Williams digs it out back to the bowler and they attempt for an impossible run. The bowler collects the ball and runs at the non-striker's end to break the stumps. Williams is dejected and walks back. 1 needed off last ball!

FOUR! OMG! This is very unlucky for Netherlands and Borren is standing with his hand on the head. Malik follows the batsman down the leg side with a fuller length ball, Williams swings his bat across the line and it comes off the inside edge. The keeper fails to stop the ball with a dive to his right and the ball speeds away to the fence. 1 needed off 3!

Timm van der Gugten To Brendan Taylor (C) OUT!
OUT! Hello? Is there any twist left in this match? Full length delivery on off, Taylor latches onto it to crack it over covers but fails to get the elevation right. Borren manning the cover region times his jump to perfection and takes a stunning one-handed catch. Taylor misses out on his fifty by a run and before walking back to the pavilion has a quiet word with Williams.
Timm van der Gugten is back on.
