MAN OF THE MATCH, YUZVENDRA CHAHAL says that he enjoyed bowling today as the wicket was slow. Adds that the skipper asked him to bowl slow and it worked.
MS DHONI says it was delightful to grab a good catch. Feels that it was a good wicket and the ball came on nicely. Credits the bowlers for restricting the opposition to a low total. Praises Chahal for his performance. Ends by saying that the batting department made him proud.
GRAEME CREMER says that losing the toss may have played a part in the loss. Adds that he is disappointed with the result. Says that it was pretty bad to have Sean Williams injured. Ends by saying that they hope to come hard in the last ODI and the T20s.
Zimbabwe needed a miracle from their bowlers but it all went against them as they were totally outdone by the Indian batters. Chibhabha and Raza picked a wicket each but it didn't help their cause. To add to their woes, a dropped catch led to Rahul staying in the middle for a while. In the end, India proved to be too hot for the hosts and they gave it away. Another emphatic victory for the Men in Blue and they have clinched the series 2-0 with one game still in hand. After cleaning up Zimbabwe for a mere 126, riding on superb performances from Chahal and the pacers, India had an easy task ahead of them. They managed to gain a more than convincing victory after starting off on a high. The two openers did pretty well and added 58 runs before Rahul fell prey to Chibhabha. Thereafter, Nair and Rayudu continued cautiously and took their team pretty close to the target while Nair fell on 39 with just 2 runs needed. He and Rayudu added 67 runs between them. Rayudu stayed unbeaten on 41 to take his team home.
