While the chase, they never looked comfortable in the middle. They were jolted quite early with twin blows from Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Shai Hope and Evin Lewis gave some fight but that would have never been enough to chase such a daunting total down. The former scored a half century which was the only highlight for them throughout the game. The Men in Blue kept bowling tight lines and hardly gave anything away cheaply. Kuldeep Yadav bowled exceptionally well and he bagged three wickets in the process to complete their biggest win against West Indies, in West Indies.
An enthralling victory for India and they have totally outplayed their opponent in all the three departments. Apart from winning the toss, the hosts hardly did anything right. They inserted India into batting first and the visitors responded in some style. They posted a total over the 300-run mark banking on some fantastic batting performances by their top-order. Dhawan, Kohli and Rahane were ruthless and hardly faced any problems against the West Indian bowling attack.
