West Indies, on the other hand, will be really disappointed as their woes in the ODI format continue with the Pakistan series lined up next. England skipper, Eoin Morgan is pleased with the performance of his team. Applauds his batsmen for applying themselves on this tricky wicket. Adds that the side is gelling well and everyone is comfortable in the dressing room. Opines that the fight for places is bringing out the best out of the players. Feels that they have adapted really well and that has to be the best part of the series. Says that he is happy about the return to form of Alex Hales. Ends by saying that the selection dilemma is the perfect place to be in at this moment of time.

Man of the Series, Chris Woakes says that his performance with the ball is impressing him more than his performance with the bat. Adds that experience on the cricket field is the best teacher and playing cricket regularly is helping him. Also adds that the fight for places raises the individual performances of the players. Ends by saying that they will want to continue the performance as they play next only in the month of May.

West Indies skipper, Jason Holder says that they gifted quite some free runs in the first innings which cost them very dearly. Adds that he is frustrated with their performance today and it has been below par throughout the series. Opines that they did not capitalize on the first two games which hurt them. Hopes to win against the Pakistan team which they play next and jump over them in the rankings.

Man of the Match, Alex Hales says that it was a very emotional time the moment he crossed the three-figure mark. Talking about his injury layoff, he says that it came at a really bad time while playing against India. Opines that they had a fixed plan in mind and they did stick to it. Adds that they planned to take on the spinners which they did to perfection. Ends by rating this as one of the best knocks he has ever played.

In reply, the hosts were never in the game. They lost 2 wickets in the first 2 overs and never got ahead of England at any stage. All the England fast bowlers in Chris Woakes, Steven Finn and Liam Plunkett made most of the two-paced deck and got extra bounce from the surface. They ran through the West Indies line-up which did not worry about putting up any resemblance of a fight. It was only Jonathan Carter who fought the lone battle for them, scoring a 77-ball 46 but could not prevent his side from losing by a big margin. Nothing worked for them but sadly, they are having too many of such days recently.

Jason Holder won the toss and inserted England in, and that was all that worked for them. The visitors put up a massive score of 328 on board, thanks to tons from Alex Hales and Joe Root. The 192-run stand ensured the collapse towards the end did not cost them much. Jason Holder and Alzarri Joseph shared seven wickets between them and that actually gave the hosts a glimpse of what was to come.

England have completely annihilated West Indies here! In the first two games, the hosts at least had their moments but that cannot be said for this final game. They have been outplayed completely and their chances of qualifying automatically for the World Cup in 2019 seem rather bleak now and they have nobody but themselves to blame.
