Right then! That's all from this game! West Indies have won the series and there are still two games to go. Australia, on the other hand, have a lot of work to do if they want to try and finish the series with wins. The 4th T20I will be played on Thursday, 15th July 2021 at 1930 local (2330 GMT). Do join us for that game. Cheers and take care.
Nicholas Pooran, the winning skipper is up for a chat. He says it was a top game. They came out and executed the plan with the bat as well as the ball. Also praises Chris Gayle and he is happy to see him back in form. Adds the knowledge in the dressing room helps him a lot during his captaincy phase. Also says Pollard is a true mentor and he always is there to help him in the back end. Also says he would like to seal the series with a whitewash. Ends by saying this will help the spirit of the team.
Aaron Finch, the Australian skipper, says that they have not had the top order continue for long and the middle order is a struggle. Adds that West Indies bowled beautifully especially at the death. Goes onto say that they would have loved more runs and that comes down to the top order not batting through. Goes onto say that his wicket exposed two new batters in the middle. Tells that international cricket is tough and they are playing against a top side but there are new excuses. Goes onto say that Meredith bowled well and they started well with the ball and hopes that they keep improving.
Chris Gayle, Man of the Match. He says it was a great journey and was happy to seal the series. Also praises Pooran and Pollard for their efforts. Also says he pleased that his teammates have always supported him. Adds that he likes the unity amongst the team and says this will help them a lot to be stronger. Also says his main aim is to concentrate on the upcoming T20 World Cup and that they are on track. He also praises the young guys in the team for their effort with the bat and ball. Adds that Australia lost a lot of players and pays respect to Finch. Adds they are going through a building phase. Ends by saying they are a really good opposition and would be back in no time once they find their rhythm.
Stay tuned for the presentation ceremony!
Australia, ohh, Australia. They have just not turned up in the series, neither with the bat nor with the ball. They started well with Mitchell Starc getting his first wicket of the series in the first over and he was the only economical bowler for the visitors. Riley Meredith did pick up three wickets but was too expensive, Hazlewood too went for runs while Zampa had a tough game with the ball. They needed early wickets but that did not come and one feels that they had too few runs on the board.
West Indies, were not off to the greatest of starts as they lost Andre Fletcher early on in the chase but Simmons and Gayle stitched a handy stand with Gayle being the aggressor. Simmons fell just at the end of the Powerplay and runs dried up. Gayle took his time after that and Pooran started off slowly but after the 10th over, Chris Gayle went berserk as he hit the ball to all parts of the ground and scored 67 and announced his return to form in style. Nicholas Pooran played a perfect supporting role and then strut his stuff after Gayle fell. In the end, they won by 6 wickets and 31 balls to spare.
Excellent performance from West Indies! They have won the series with 2 games to spare and they could not have asked for a better performance after the series defeat to South Africa earlier. Australia, on the other hand, were poor once again with both bat and ball and they have been thrashed.

Riley Meredith To Dwayne Bravo OUT!
OUT! CAUGHT! Excellent catch from Adam Zampa but is it too late? Good length ball around off, Bravo looks to go over the off side but one hand comes off the handle and it goes off the outside edge to backward point. Zampa runs backwards, keeps his eyes on the ball and takes a very good catch. Meredith on a Hat-Trick.
