That's all from this game! What a cracker-jacker of a game! When Kohli faces Rohit, we expect a game like this and we were not disappointed. Bangalore win it eventually but they have some massive holes to fill in their bowling. Mumbai, on the other hand, need to bat better at the top as they lose their second game of the tournament. Now the action shifts to Abu Dhabi for the clash between Delhi and Hyderabad which will be played on 29th September, 2020 at 1930 IST. Join us for that. Until then, cheers and take care.
AB de Villiers has been announced the MAN OF THE MATCH But he is suffering from dehydration and Kohli takes the award on his behalf. Kohli says that the way AB batted was exceptional and he kept really well too. Adds that AB does not talk much about cricket and he backs his ability. States that he has stepped up every time he gets onto the field.
Virat Kohli, the victorious Bangalore skipper, says that he does not have much words to say. Adds that they batted well in the first innings to get to over 200. Says that the way Pollard and Kishan batted was outstanding. Adds that they have to keep working on their fielding. Says that the little things they are not capitalizing on the field is a thing they have to look out for. Says that they were looking to send in those batsmen who could run twos in the first four balls and that was him and AB. Goes onto say that Bumrah would have been under pressure against him and AB. Adds that these type of games is good for fans. Kohli mentions that Sundar was exceptional in the Powerplay. Adds that the guys showed character and playing against a top side, it becomes difficult to contain them. Says that this game should boost them in the future.
Washington Sundar is in for a chat! He says that he is happy that he contributed for his side in any way and to do it against a team like Mumbai was very pleasing to see. States that he cannot tell Kohli to give him the ball in the Super Over as it was Saini who needed to bowl that. Says that they were cruising at one stage and they had belief that they could win this game, even after the Super Over.
Rohit Sharma, the Mumbai skipper, says that it was a  good innings from Ishan Kishan as he took them close and Pollard was exceptional as ever. Adds that they could not take momentum in the first 6 overs. Says that with Polly being there, anything can happen. Adds that Bangalore stuck to their plans and they held their nerves better than them. States that Kishan was drained out and he was not comfortable going to bat in the Super Over. Goes onto say that Hardik is one who can hit the long ball but it did not come off. Says that the top edge from ABD got Bangalore in a comfortable position in the Super Over.
We have the presentation coming up...
Earlier, in the game, AB de Villiers blitz and some great contributions from Finch, Dube and Padikkal took Bangalore to a total of over 200. Mumbai's bowling was poor and they were in trouble with the bat as well before Pollard and Kishan rescued them. In the end, Mumbai could not clinch it in the Super Over.
Bangalore's bowling was brilliant at the start but they need to give a lot of thought of bowling at the death. They should have backed themselves to defend 80 in the last 4 overs but it was not to be and the match went in the Super Over. Zampa and Chahal were expensive today while Sundar was exceptional. One can say that his spell at the start and Saini's over in the Super Over were the highlights for Bangalore.
Mumbai were nowhere in the picture in this game! They were struggling at the half-way mark but it is said that it is never over till the last ball is bowled and that is what happened! Pollard and Kishan had belief in themselves that they can take Mumbai close and boy, they did that. They needed 80 in the last 4 overs and Pollard went berserk and smashed the bowlers all around the park.
This was crazy, this was some match and it ends in a heart-break for Mumbai! You could not have asked for a better match between Kohli and Rohit!. Kohli though takes the honours but to be honest, they should have won the game quite comfortably and not let the game go to a Super Over. Bangalore though held their nerves and won the game in the end.
Phew. Don't think I would have been able to survive another Super Over if that last ball had been a dot. Bangalore just about held their nerves better than Mumbai and bowled brilliantly to keep Mumbai to 7. Bumrah did well but that top-edged boundary sealed the game.

Jasprit Bumrah To Virat Kohli
FOUR! BANGALORE WIN! Bumrah misses his yorker by just a fraction and it becomes a low full toss. Kohli flicks it away. There is a man at deep square leg but he just gives it up.
If this ends in a tie, we shall have another Super Over!

TOP EDGE, FOUR! A short ball, outside off, AB looks to pull but gets a top edge. It flies over short fine leg and lands just before the ropes! 2 needed from 2 balls now!
Change of bats now for AB.

Jasprit Bumrah To AB de Villiers
NOT OUT, but a dot ball! A terrific short ball, around off, coming into the batsman, AB swivels to pull but misses. De Kock collects and appeals and umpire Reiffel raises his finger! AB though reviews immediately and Ultra Edge shows a flat line when ball passes the bat.
Is that a wicket? AB de Villiers has been given out caught behind, but he reviews. Hard to see any bat involved there. But it is a dot ball.
