This loss sums Lahore's season, they have just struggled to win games no matter how many good positions they get themselves into. They bowled so well in trying to defend an under par score. The likes of Raza, Jahandad Khan wbo was the pick and Shaheen did really well for most parts but they just couldn't hold their neves when it mattered. Maybe one could question why Zaman, who has been their best bowler in the death for a while wasn't given his quota but despite that, they were in a good position hta have finished second best yet again.
He was the real star with the bat! He held fort at one end and kept his nerve despite losing wickets at the other end. Not only that, he really wasn't at his fluent best but managed to find the fence when needed. He got decent support from Roy at the start and Nafay in the middle but he was the key for Quetta in chasing this total down.
What a game! The Quetta team members are over the moon. Why not? They've made it through the next round and what a way to do so! Wasim, you beauty! However, credit has to be given to Shakeel.
