Right then. That is all from this game. The action in the PSL is nearing the end of the group stage and we have another game for you on Wednesday, 16th June 2021 as we will see the clash between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators. That game will begin at 2000 local (1600 GMT). We hope to have your company for that game. Until then, cheers and goodbye!
Wahab Riaz, the winning skipper of Peshawar Zalmi, says that the way Zazai batted was brilliant. Says that he left no clue for the bowlers. Adds that he gave the license to bowlers to express themselves. Further mentions that since the last three games, they have been giving away wickets quickly and this is something they will further look into.
HAZRATULLAH ZAZAI IS THE PLAYER OF THE MATCH. He says that when he got selected into PSL, he was very excited and he was practicing well and he got motivated by his skipper and coaches. Says that he loves playing against fast bowlers, but has also spent time working on his game against spin.
Imad Wasim, the Karachi Kings captain, says that they cannot do much about some things as Zalmi batted well. Feels that they outclassed them in all departments and Zazai was the difference between these two sides and says that they are still in the tournament. Tells that they have nothing to lose now and they want to give the best chance to themselves.
Peshawar Zalmi was just too strong for Karachi Kings. They bowled brilliantly and bundled them out for just 109 runs. Wahab Riaz and Abrar Ahmed shared 3 wickets each while Sameen Gul scalped two wickets off two deliveries. Abbas' cameo towards the end helped them cross the 100-run mark. While chasing, Zazai's innings was enough for Zalmis to chase the target down without breaking a sweat.
Mohammad Amir got some swing early into the innings but didn't manage to get any breakthroughs. Aamer Yamin started well as he removed Kamran Akmal with a peach of a delivery. But then, the duo went for 43 runs combined. The pacers didn't bowl into the right lines and lengths and were punished heavily. Imad Wasim bowled a double-wicket maiden but it came a tad too late into the innings. Defending 109 was always difficult and it was just not the day for the Kings.
What a win for Peshawar Zalmi. Top display from their batters, especially Zazai. He deserves all the credit. After Kamran Akmal departed, Hazratullah Zazai took the attacking role and went gun-blazing. He sent the Karachi bowlers to the cleaners. The debutant also brought up his fifty off just 17 deliveries. Haiden Ali too joined the party and hit a few good shots to support Zazai. They were on a riot as they took on the bowlers of the Kings. Even though Zalmi lost 3 quick wickets towards the end of their run chase, they coasted home, without any troubles.

Noor Ahmad To Haider Ali OUT!
OUT! STUMPED! That's great bowling by Noor and Haider Ali walks back now. A flurry of wickets falling and Zalmi are not able to wrap this game up quickly. Smart by Noor. Sees Haider skipping down the track and darts across and quicker ball outside off. Ali comes down, but fails to connect bat with ball. The keeper, Chadwick Walton takes and whips the bails off. TV umpire confirms the same. This has been wided, so a run too. Sherfane Rutherford is the next man in.

Imad Wasim To Shoaib Malik OUT!
OUT! CAUGHT! Malik tried to finish it off in a big manner but he holes out. A duck for Malik, but it does not really matter, in the scheme of this game. Full, outside off, floated, Shoaib Malik skips down the track and lofts this one towards long off. No distance on this as Martin Guptill takes it, without any issues. 10 more needed still.
