So! The 100-ball tournament is being talked about in England but Australia tonight advertised it. If truth be told, the match was done and dusted in the Powerplay itself when they were reduced to 26/6. How will the second T20I pan out? Will Pakistan crush their opponents there as well? Join us on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 8 pm local (1600 GMT). ADIOS! TAKE CARE!
Victorious Pakistan skipper, Sarfraz Ahmed, says that the strength of the Pakistan team is that the bowling is so strong that they can defend if they get some sort of a total on board. On the promotion of Asif Ali and Husan Talat with the bat, Sarfraz admits that the plan was to keep coming in hard at Australia but although that did not work out, praises Babar and Hafeez for doing well. Is full of adjectives for his bowling unit and also says that Hasan Ali's cameo was the turning point in the game. On being asked whether he would open with Hasan in the second game, Ahmed smiles and says that one never knows, the way Ali is hitting the ball these days, if he is let loose along with Fakhar Zaman, anything can happen.
A dejected Australian captain, Aaron Finch, admits that it was an embarrassing batting display. Praises Pakistan for bowling very well and also agrees that his team just batted one-dimensionally - trying to to hit every ball out of the park - could have probably taken some time. But quickly adds that the unit will do better in the next game as they were rusty tonight. Praises his bowlers for bowling well tonight but feels the fielding was pretty ordinary. On Pakistan's bowling, he is full of praises for the talent that they have and challenges his batsmen to come back firing in Dubai.
IMAD WASIM HAS BEEN NAMED THE MAN OF THE MATCH for his brilliant bowling spell. Praises the almighty for helping him come back well after injury. On being asked what did he do in hibernation, Imad says that he just played a few domestic matches. On his plan against the Aussies, he says that he just planned on keeping it straight and was lucky that he did not get hit for runs. Stresses that one gets confidence by playing more, so hopes he continues to play more.
It was a top class bowling performance by the numero uno T20I team. Imad Wasim set the tone with a 3-fer and then the other bowlers capitalized. They didn't allow the team from Down Under to recover after initial blows and kept pegging them back by picking regular wickets. Earlier in the evening, a good batting performance by Babar Azam and his partnership of 73 runs with Mohammad Hafeez powered Pakistan to 155/8. However, they lost their way towards the end, it didn't cost them much. Time for the presentation...
All over in the blink of an eye! A commanding performance by Pakistan as they have completely decimated the Aussies. It all started in the first over itself when Imad Wasim removed both the openers. Post that, the Australian innings got derailed and they lost six wickets inside the Powerplay. It was a mere formality after that and Pakistan didn't waste much time in bowling them out. Nathan Coulter-Nile top scored and his knock helped the Kangaroos surpass their lowest T20I total.

Shaheen Afridi To Andrew Tye OUT!
OUT! 5th batsman to be bowled in this innings! Beaten for pace there, also he misread the length. Slightly fuller on middle, Tye instead of coming forward tries to defend it from within the crease. The ball skids off and even before the bat comes down, sneaks through and uproots the middle stump. Two in the over for Shaheen. End is nigh for the Aussies.

Shaheen Afridi To Adam Zampa OUT!
OUT! In the air... taken! In the end that is. Hasan almost made a meal of that one. But in the end he has taken a brilliant catch. Zampa tries to clear the long on fence but gets more height than distance. Hasan Ali in the deep, initially misjudges it as he comes running in, then realizes that the ball is going to fall behind him. He stops himself, tracks back and then takes it above his head, falling down. Lovely stuff. 8 down now and Australia need another 8 to surpass their lowest score in T20Is.
