Mushfiqur Rahim, the skipper of Khulna Tigers, says that he is very happy with the result. Adds that they had their backs against the wall and they responded really well. Mentions that Comilla Victorians had a good score but the wicket was good to bat on. Credits Andre Fletcher and Mahedi Hasan for the way they batted. Informs that they need to do better with the ball in the death overs in the playoffs.
Andre Fletcher is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH! Fletcher says when they were fielding, he felt 160-170 could be chased but 180 was a little dicey but Mahedi Hasan and he played really well. Mentions he just wanted to play to his strength and he knew who to target and who not to. States it is not over yet, they do not want to get complacent. Adds he felt he was plumb when he was given out but his partner told him, he was hit outside off and he trusted him and he is happy he carried his side home.
Faf du Plessis, the skipper of Comilla Victorians, says that they had a par score but they did not start well with the ball. Credits Andre Fletcher and says that his partnership with Mahedi Hasan took the game away from them. Adds that their key players needed a bit of rest but they will be back for the playoffs. Confesses that when you don't get wickets in the Powerplay, it gets very difficult.

Comilla Victorians had a good score on the board, but they were blown away in the second half. They had decided to rest a few key players for this game as they had already sealed their spot in the top two but that experiment did not work out. Their full-strength XI will be back for the playoffs and they will perform much better than this.
It took a special show by Khulna Tigers to get them over the line. A sensational opening stand between Mahedi Hasan and Andre Fletcher was a treat to watch. They blasted 69 runs in the Powerplay and there was no looking back. Everything went their way as even the outside edges went to the fence. There was nothing that Comilla Victorians could do once these two batters got going and no one was spared. Moeen Ali did trap Andre Fletcher in the 12th over but a late review saved Fletcher. After that, it was only a matter of time before Khulna Tigers got over the line. In the first innings, Faf du Plessis scored a sensational ton and in reply, Andre Fletcher got a ton of his own to get his team over the line.
Khulna Tigers are in the playoffs! What a brilliant way to book your ticket too! Minister Group Dhaka have been knocked out after this match. A brilliant show by the Tigers and they will be very happy!
