Earlier in the day after being asked to bat first, Bangladesh were sloppy with the bat as they managed to score only 96 runs. The batters couldn't fight against the quality bowling lineup of India. Jaker Ali was the pick of the batters as he scored 24 runs while Parvez Hossain Emon was not far behind him with 23 runs. Apart from these two batters no batter stood up and took the responsibility to stand tall for the side. India bowled beautifully as they never let any batter in and picked up wickets regularly.
