What a day we have had, phew! If Afghanistan managed an upset over the Caribbeans, India came on top with ease against the Kangaroos. Tomorrow we have the final match of the Super 10s. South Africa will take on Sri Lanka in Delhi but it's going to be a dead rubber. Both the teams will look to end their campaign with a win before flying home. Join us at 1930 IST for this clash. Until then, take care and ciao!
Australia captain, STEVEN SMITH says that it was a pretty serious innings from Kohli. Says that Zampa could have bowled an over more but it turned out not to be that way and Kohli played an unbelievable knock to take his team home and he has been doing it for a while now. Thinks that the New Zealand game was a disappointment as they lost by a small margin and didn't do well tonight either. Ends by congratulating India and wishing them all the luck in their future journey.
India captain, MS DHONI says it was a tough score and their (Australia's) batting for the first 6 overs and later was different but they still got to 160. Adds that he knew it was a tough wicket and couldn't hit all the balls for a six. Thinks that Kohli is playing superbly for the last 2-3 years and he has evolved a lot. Adds that he (Kohli) keeps on improving and is very hungry. Thinks others have to contribute and need to do more to take the pressure off. Says that Yuvraj was good and Hardik too bowled well and the fall of early Australian wickets helped India after the 6th over. Thinks his team did well in the middle overs to restrict the Aussies to 160. Ends by saying that running between the wickets is very important as every side has fielders who are very quick and it is bit of a mind game as well.
Man of the Match, VIRAT KOHLI says he would like to thank the crowd for coming out and supporting them. Adds they help by pushing them through tough times and that's what they play for. Adds that Yuvraj and himself shared a good partnership and MS (Dhoni) helped him to be calm in the middle towards the end. Says that Yuvraj stuck in and his boundaries helped for the team's cause. Further says that he perished but that was for the team's good cause as he tried to make use of of the fact that he was injured. (On running between the wickets) Adds that he and Dhoni have a great understanding and always look for quick runs. Says that he works in the gym and the training paid off today. Thinks that this innings comes in the top 3, probably on the top as against Australia it's always special. Ends by saying the positive energy from the crowd and in the stadium helps them to get through and a bit of luck helps as well.
Australia have now lost 6 T20Is in a row against the Indians. This was Kohli's 10th fifty in a run chase and that shows the consistency of the World number two T20I batsman. India will now face West Indies in the second semi-final to be played in Mumbai, their fortress. Sadly, this turned out to be the last international match of Shane Watson's career. We wish him all the best for his future. Presentation, next up.
Watson was superb with his bowling. He bowled with precision and intent and scalped two wickets giving away just 23 runs. But it was the 18th and the 19th over that took the game completely away from Australia as the Indians scored a mammoth 35 runs. No other bowler looked comfortable against Kohli and he punished them all over the park.
The Indian openers didn't really get going tonight and neither did the middle order. Yuvraj twisted his ankle which caused more concern to the Indian outfit but that 45-run stand between him and Kohli twisted this tale in India's favour. The stylish Indian southpaw perished looking to take advantage of his injury but India's stellar pillar, MS Dhoni made sure to be there till the end and see it through with the winning runs.
Now that's what you can call a match worth every penny. Both the teams played their hearts out but it was one man who made the difference. The king of chases, the newest master of the game, the future captain of India, Virat Kohli who more or less has single-handedly taken his team into the semis.

FOUR! There it is, INDIA WIN BY 6 WICKETS! Faulkner serves a full toss on middle and leg. A perfect Dhoni delivery to put away. He obliges with a heave on the leg side to get a boundary to win it for India at deep mid-wicket. Kohli is all emotional as he sits on the ground to breathe a sigh of relief.

Length delivery outside off, Kohli fails to put bat to ball.
Nathan Coulter-Nile comes into the attack.
The physio is out the the middle as he looks to have hurt his back. Well we can see an extra bit of hard work from both the Indians out there. Hope he can continue to support Kohli.
20 runs off the final 2 overs. Still anybody's game.
