Then there was a long break however, the rain stopped and Ireland needed 104 in 8 overs which they were not able to chase.
A convincing win then for Bangladesh to take a 1-0 lead in the series and it is also their 4th win in a row. The start though was brilliant for Ireland. Chasing over 100 in 8 overs, Ross Adair and Paul Stirling hit the ball to all parts of the groud in the Powerplay but once that ended, wickets fell in heaps. Taskin Ahmed was the star with the ball with a four-fer but the likes of Shakib, Hasan Mahmud and Mustafizur Rahman were also very impressive.
