Kieron Pollard, the skipper of New Yorker Strikers, says that it feels good to make it to the playoffs and applauds the efforts of his players and support staff. Shares that everyone was quiet in the dressing room after the first game. Adds that it was all about expressing themselves on the field and they got results. Says that it is a good headache to have regarding team selection. Also says that they looked to add an extra spinner considering the batters of Team Abu Dhabi and they will come up with a plan against Morrisville Samp Army as well. Ends by saying that he is going to get a good sleep and plan in the morning for the next game.
Wahab Riaz (2-0-4-3) is the Player of the Match! The speedster says that he tried his best and overcame the niggles all thanks to the physio. Shares that they knew the ball will be wet and they were looking to bowl the hard lengths and utilize the extra bounce. States that you just have to bowl two overs and it's a great format. Further says that it's all about executing your skills.

Eoin Morgan comes up for a quick interview. Says that it was a bit of a strange game as they expected it to be high-scoring. Earlier, Team Abu Dhabi struggled throughout their batting innings as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Wahab Riaz, Rashid Khan and Tom Hartley were very effective in these conditions, and they played key roles in suffocating the opposition batters. During the chase, Muhammad Waseem got the chance to open and he made full use of it by stroking an unbeaten 20-ball 45.
Emphatic win for the New York Stars and they have secured the top spot on the table! Their bowlers did the bulk of the job by restricting Team Abu Dhabi to a below-par total and then despite losing Paul Stirling for a duck, it was a smooth ride to the target for the Stars.
