England captain Alastair Cook says it is "looking good" for pace bowler James Anderson to play in the second Test against South Africa.Â
England's leading wicket-taker missed the big Test win in Durban with a right calf strain, but appears ready to return to give the tourists another boost in the Cape Town game starting Saturday.
Cook says that Anderson had done a fair amount of practice bowling under the watch of England's backroom staff, and "I think we're hopeful."Â
While Anderson's return would be welcome for England, South Africa will probably be without fast bowler Dale Steyn in the second Test, further hampering a struggling team.
