The duo slammed 120 not out off 47 balls and 109 not out off 56 balls, respectively, while also putting a record second wicket partnership of 210 runs off 86 balls. Samson became the first-ever batter in T20I cricket to slam three centuries in a calendar year. The innings saw several other records being made.
