Cricket is all set to touch a new high as the Europe's longest glacier in Alps will soon host an exhibition match between two all-star teams from India and England at an altitude of 11,330 feet, surrounded by snow clad peaks.
Indian team will include 1983 World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev, Roger Binny, Anshuman Gawekwad, Sandeep Patil and Ajay Jadeja, while the opponent will have some eminent names including Chris Broad, John Emburey, Dean Jones and Geoff Howarth.
The players will travel from here, Delhi and London to its hub in Zurich, at the foothills of the Alps.
From there the sportsmen will make their way to the 'Top-of-Europe' on board the Jungfrau Mountain Railway. Their final destination will be a cricket field at the source of Europe's longest glacier, with a panoramic view of the Alps, a release said on Wednesday.
